Good compass with romers on the base plate. Nice! – Can be fragile, I've gone through 4, various issues like leaking oil in 2, degrees rubbed off the rotating bezel on another and a mobile luber line (2degrees) on another. All replaced under warantee but I could have done without the inconvenience. No such problems since upgrading to the sighting model but it's EXPENSIVE at $200. Great romers. Relatively inexpensive. Good warrantee service but i used it too often. Fragile.

Easy to handle – I would like the manual printed in larger type and I wonder if dowloading your manual for Siva Ranger 3 is possible. Well thought out and easy to keep with you. Type size of manual

Good – Good compass - carry it as a backup to the GPS so the size was really the only funtion I was interested in. The map scales and magnifier were bonuses. Good size overall but still easy to read the markings and dial. Magnifying section in the base is handy. Nil, simple design and functionality means its hard to pick faults
