Silverback Concreting

A brilliant job, service, advice and crew – We had concrete laid for our new patio and portico extension covering over 150 m2 using 14m2 of concrete. Matt and the guys did an awesome job and we couldn't be happier. The advice we received was excellent, the schedule was exact, additional work on the day was not a problem and the job was on budget. Everyone went out of their way to make sure it was perfect. A great crew who enjoy their work and we had many laughs. Thank you one and all.
Ripped Us Off Then Wouldn’t Rectify Work – Silverback Concreting formed up a slab for a wheelie bin room. Their quote said they would excavate 150mm to place the concrete but instead there was no excavation and the concrete was laid over the dirt, lowering the head height of the bin room down to as low as 1.55 metres. And this was an area people have to walk through! There were two adjoining slabs off concrete but Silverback Concreting didn’t match those concrete Finished Floor Levels meaning their slab or concrete is now 180mm higher than one slab and 150mm higher than the other slab. Also, they quoted on the job then changed their quote after the body corporate had accepted it, adding another $500 to the price. This is an area where wheelie bins and bikes are wheeled in. They now have to be dragged up and down a 150mm and 180mm height differential. Subsequently, the body corporate is now having to pay just as much to rectify their work as they paid for the original job. Silverback Concreting were asked to rectify their work but said they were happy with the work and rectification wasn’t necessary.
