Not my preference – Their pastry is great, but found the spring rolls much less. The veggies in my pack were low quality and stringy, much prefer Nature's Kitchen Vegetable Spring Rolls that I have always found to be top quality from outside to inside. Maybe just purchased a dodge batch, but won’t buy again as tasted like contents were the rough ends that didn’t make the cut in the good quality stuff.
Purchased in at Woolworths for $6.50.
These are Gold – Once upon a lifetime ago when I could tolerate gluten and dairy,I would buy myself a Chiko Roll for my lunch.I loved them. Then life happened and intolerances kicked in…I had to say goodbye to the spring roll lunches. A couple of months ago I found these in the frozen food section at Woolies. They are gluten free…dairy free..suitable for vegans and so delicious. A 228gram is $6.50 pack and holds four..Two would be equivalent to the ‘old school’ Spring Roll. You can deep fry or oven heat…Personally I prefer oven heated. All those memories come rushing back every time I bite into one.
