Just divine! – This was just beautiful to use. Was totally fresh when i thawed it out. I made 5 vegan hand size pies out of it. The pies turned a fluffy golden brown in the oven. We devoured them pretty quickly. So glad they make this pastry! Show details
Extremely oily – I couldn't believe how oily this pastry is. It was like pulling batter out of a deep fryer and not draining any of the oil out. I expected better considering the price of it.Would never use again Show details
Just delightful – To be coeliac safe we haven't had puff pastry for years. We found this puff pastry and tried it out on a chicken pie and were delighted with the results, used straight from the packet and it was very light and tasty. Now back to Beef Wellington's etc. On the following night we reheated the remainder at 150 degrees and the puff pastry was still great. Show details
This is amazing!! – Not sure about the packaging in the image above, but I tried using the new Simply Wize puff pastry which comes in a new black packaging and OMG this is absolutely amazing. I can not believe how soft the sheets were I am so used to the gluten free puff pastries that you can not fold but this feels like a real puff pastry. I honestly kept going back… Read more
to check that I picked the ‘Gluten Free’ pastry and that this is really GF. It baked perfectly and tasted even better. If you have allergies or coeliac disease like me this is truely a game changer! You must try it honestly!
Simply Terrible – I have followed the directions at least 3 times now. For me it just doesn't make a difference. It crumbles every time. So in the end we just put the pastry in the oven with an oil & honey wash.
