Had a car impounded into this shop by the Kyneton police after trying to transfer a newly purchased car and Vic Roads advising us that the block had been stolen. Was told car would be kept safe and car was full of fuel with a current RWC. After finally getting the car back car was found in their yard unlocked and bonnet popped. As we drove off… Read more

realised tanks 1/2 empty and car isn’t running properly. Cars currently broken down and Skipdon have sent a staff member over are claiming must be a faulty fuel gauge. Doesn’t explain where the fuel that was put in the directly before impoundment went. Very shady mob and will be taking this matter further and will reporting this to police

Skipdon’s motors provide great repairs and customer service – The team at Skipdon motors could not have been more helpful. They guided me through a very difficult time negotiating how to get my car repaired after it was hit by someone who did not know how to claim with their insurance company. Our car looks brand new, and they fully detailed it, even picking me up from the train station so I didn’t have to… Read more

walk to their business. We are so lucky to have a local service like this. Thanks to Kaela, Megan, Jai and all the guys for doing a great job.

Awful customer service and car broke down two days after collection – Had a crash, had the car towed and taken to skipdon motors as it was close to the accident. Took over a month for the repairs which I was told would take 13 days. I never received a call from them, I had to call every time I wanted an update. I was finally told to collect the car, got a lift to collect and it was the wrong car they had ready. Came… Read more

back a week later. Two days after this the car broke down on the freeway due to a fault related to the repairs! I’m 7 months pregnant and now have to get the car fixed again and wait again. Won’t be going there again...

No customer service – RACV insurance job. Took car in for assessment Jan, car booked to be repaired March. I was not happy with a 2 month wait but ok. We were advised to pick up on the Friday. However, there was a delay on the parts which business found out about on the Wednesday . My issue came when we weren't contacted, so on Friday when I called them to ask… Read more

what time to pick up the car they advised me it would be "about" another 3 business days as they only got the parts on the Friday morning .

When I asked why I had not been called the gentleman replied that I was not the only one, that there were 4 other Holdens in. I asked if they were contacted and he said yes. I asked for a courtesy car as I needed a vehicle for work and they told me to go rent one.

The person I spoke to refused to take any responsibility for not advising delays, and he terminated the call ("We're done here") without telling me a firm pick up date of the car.

Dishonest, unprofessional, threatening – During August I was promised by the owner Gary that they would repaint and panel beat 8 of my small 2cv panels for $300.00 by December 2018. I heard nothing. They refused to answer any of my emails, phone calls or snail mail. We we finally went to the workshop late January to find out what was going on we were told that we were lying about what… Read more

had been promised and agreed to, and the new cost was now $500 per panel. They became very aggressive and threatening and told us get the off the property. There are many stories about how Skipdon Motors have mistreated their innocent customers.
