I have discovered that any balance you have on Skype is not refundable. A multi-billion dollar, multinational company will not refund unused credits to the public. I am pretty sure this is illegal in Australia.

Disappointing – It’s disappointing that individual credit purchase options have been eliminated, leaving only subscription plans. This change was poorly communicated, catching users off guard. Time to revisit this decision, team - if there’s a plan in place at all.

Bought credit never appeared on Skype – I purchase a credit through the Skype App using Apple Pay the credit has never appeared and I have spent countless minutes trying to get an answer from Skype over the issue. I got through 10 days ago the customer agent told me Skype were aware of the issue and it as a software issue and it would be solved in a week. It's been over a week and nothing has appeared. So warning to all - don't purchase Skype credits.

Skype deduct funds and DON'T deliver their sms service – I have been using the paid feature of skype sms for years and this past 6+ months it has been dreadful- skype deduct payment for every sms sent however do not deliver the sms 50% of the time and never indicate that this sms is undelivered. I am currently looking for another provider to send sms via online platform - Do NOT waste money on this paid feature of Skype as it is unfortunately as good as a scam these days.

Pile of Junk – Skype was a good program until micro$oft got hold of it. Changed it with the micro$oft brand and style. Now it is rubbish, junk. Expensive to use, difficult at times, they take credit out of your account. Never use a credit card , they turn on auto refill without asking you and keep on debiting at will. skype stole my money - don't buy credit there or trust them with your money – I paid $$ to my account. I went to use and found credit was never added. I opened (skype-in-bed-with) paypal dispute; they instantly suspended my skype account, closed paypal dispute with no refund and no credit . shame shame. Don't trust them with your money.
