What a disaster - ruining our sleep and giving us aches and pains! – Brand new Elara mattress - sold to us on recommendation that it was a " firm " mattress but on the first night, we found the top mushy, swampy, uncomfortable and lacked support. Bedding consultant suggested we contact Sleepmaker and have a "respecification" of the top covering - Sleepmaker has yet to respond to my quiry and I suspect this will involve a very long process to wear us down emotionally, whilst we are further suffering physically from the uncomfortable and poor support of the brand new mattress. We believe we have been mislead and have been sold a dud!
Thanks - taking a photo of a new mattress is what has been suggested - a waste of time... but we are hopeful

A number of conversations with Sleepmaker customer service staff member, - no help at all. We had to purchase a latex rubber topper and then a dunlopillo cool matress cover to make the brand new mattress comfortable - i.e. firmer .The Elara mattress is now off the market but leaves in its wake - some very angry and dissatisfied customers. After my insistance, customer service person, said that they would put a new cushion cover ($450) but could not guarantee that this would be any better than the existing mushy swampy cushion top.
