I have never had a mattress fail before. I have heard the stories and never thought it would be so bad. It is maybe a year old. It was perfect when brand new. Maybe the best I have tested. Be careful of being lured in as I now have to sleep on the very sides of the queen lest I get the large dead spot on the middle and subsequent hip pain. I… Read more
remember the salesman was adamant about changing and spinning the mattress when new. I was happy to do that. I wonder if they will somehow blame the dead sunken spot on me now.
People beware of scamming, lying and selling faulty products Manufacturer SlumberCorp – If I could rate them negative, would give them minus 10....... The mattress was purchased under the NDIS scheme and it didnt even last 6 months before completely falling apart. It took the shop and the manufacturer long time to decide it has to be replaced 9 even the replacement had to be returned back as they didnt say the Velcro for attaching to… Read more
the electric bed) because its a major fault, and we then chose a different kind with springs on because we found the foam wasnt suitable and fit for purpose. Mind you they are now making up that it was all because of good will they swapped the "soiled" mattress when its not true on all points, and even the 2 technicians that came to inspect the 1st one, commented they have not seen this major fault ever before which shocked us then. After 10 months the second one is now losing it, but instead of helping, they kept silent until I reached out to Consumer Protection, and even then, they are trying to make it impossible for me to claim the warranty, wanting me to provide certificate of cleaning which by the way no company has ever heard of or providing, and after me calling all day ( this is on purpose) I solidified my knowing it from the beginning, its not something that is available at all, and all they want is to send me on a merry go round to spend money and then to come inspect the mattress and deem it not faulty, so they can get off the hook.
I had to try you see so that I am in the clear and that I have all the data available for when I take them to Court. You see, its in there we will discuss the requirement for certificates, which I have called so many companies in Perth for it, to no avail, and also why I havent been contacted when I first approach them in January and had to get Consumer Protection to attract attention.
Its appalling how they dont care a disabled person cannot lie on the rubbish mattress they claim to have manufactured locally ([Content Removed]) for months but they got their money for both mattresses of NDIS.
The mattress is sagging after 2 months! Good to throw out. Purchased Cloud System Mattress – Purchased Cloud System Mattress.Had someone visit to inspect mattress, and advised the bed frame was the cause (needed a solid frame). Tested on a solid frame and also solid wooden floors, it Still sags, but did not change anything. Requested replacement, told it was not faulty. It's ready for the tip, the worst purchase I have ever made.
Mattress- Bought through Focus on furniture- – I bought mattress through Focus on furniture in 2016. Focus on when approached as mattress is out of shape, they passed it to Slumbercare. Slumbercare wanted us to get the mattress cleaned , which we did. but now insisting on receipt, which we did not have. They know that mattress is clean ( as is evident from photo's sent to them ) but are… Read more
insisting on getting it cleaned again , and provide receipt, at my cost before picking it up and getting it replaced or fixed. It is going on for more than 3 months now, I am so frustrated that I am going to take it to consumer affairs Kind Regards C S Monga
Worst mattress we have ever had – Most expensive mistake we have ever made no customer service ...bed started to sag badly just months after purchase they charged us extra to fix it when it was returned it felt like lying on a slab of concrete we can not advise enough to stay away...just utter crap.
Expensive piece of junk – We bought a queen mattress for $1500 (reduced from $3000) nearly 3 years ago. After a few weeks, we noticed that it sagged on both sides. Yes, we turned it around as recommended, but it didn't solve the problem. Back aches galore so we tried to contact the manufacturer. However, after reading other reviews, I think we're going to just go out and buy a new one. Don't waste your money like we did.
The mattress Top lost its shape in 3 years – The Mattress I bought 3 years ago lost its shape, the sales manager who visited to consider warranty claim was rude and least customer friendly (asking me to go and buy chinese brands if want cheap), Their 10 years warranty is a scam. don't buy at any cost.
Sagging mattress with no support – I have been trying to get my mattress replaced as it is sagging and extremely uncomfortable. Slumbercare came and got the mattress to repair and since I got it back I still have the same sagging problem. They said it’s a soft mattress so you will get indentation. The warranty does not cover anything really as they won’t even replace the mattress.… Read more
When I said I’m writing a review they said they would replace the soft foam with firmer but at my cost to send the mattress from Adelaide to Melbourne and back, that’s hardly customer service. So never by a top of the range Aetreum Vertex Utopia Mattress Made by Slumbercare.
slumber care contour.7 couture – We have had this mattress for 3-4 years and we are very disappointed, we have 2 depressed areas where we have slept and it seems to retain heat a lot, not happy with it and will not be buying another one of these
Yes I also bought a Piece of Crap!!! – Eco Touch Soft Queen Mattress (16 years Warranty) - after 8 months one of the sides had unglued and mattress was 30mm shorter in length than the Slumbercare base I also bought. It took Slumbercare 17 weeks to pick it up and their report stated the side was re-glued, the foam had compress by 30mm, they glued a 30mm piece of foam to the end of the… Read more
mattress so I requested they replace it with a new mattress, they said no and returned the repaired one. Since then the width of the mattress is now about 30mm wider than the base and by the time morning comes after a bad nights sleep my body sinks into the mattress nearly half way causing neck and back pains. On 9/8/17 I had rep inspect it and he reported that there was nothing wrong with it. On 4/3/19 retailer picked up my mattress (cost me $99) and Slumbercare picked the mattress from retailer (at no charge) to ship it back to Melbourne. Again Slumbercare reported that there was nothing wrong with the mattress as they did not guarantee comfort. I replied that comfort was not the issue but that I was sinking into the mattress up to half way by the time morning came therefore there must be something wrong with the memory foam. They still claim that there is nothing wrong with the mattress so I told them that I didn't want it back and to dump it ($2500 mattress) as I can't sleep on it anymore. I have since bought a two sided soft/medium queen mattress and I am having the best sleep in years with no neck or back pains. If I had checked out reviews on Slumbercare before I purchased their mattress and base I definitely would not have bought their products. My Slumbercare mattress is a load of crap, their customer service is near to none and their warranty is meaningless.
Piece of Crap!!! – Bought King Size Mattress from Focus on Furniture. We were promised the world when they wanted our money. But after using it for few months, the mattress which was supposed to be FIRM started to sink in. We were having back problem and sleepless night as we keep tossing to try and get a good position. They sent someone to come and checked the… Read more
mattress after we sent out so many emails to Slumbercare. The guy came in and talked a lots of crap, and finally told us that it is normal wear/tear so he don't see the point of repairing it or replacing it as that would cost us money. He even suggested that we gave it to the Salvos if we are not happy with it.. What kind of Customer service is this? Very Poor quality mattress and Very Bad Customer Service. Do not buy from SLUMBERCARE!!!! He even had the guts to tell us that "our mattress was not the most expensive one - which we paid around $1500 for.. He said some goes up to $2000. So what does that tells us? That we didn't spend enough money on your crap..But there's even more expensive crap that they sell and expected us to buy??!
Poor Quality & Warranty Service – Not happy! Brought king size memory foam pillow top mattress 16 months ago. It has sunk on both sides already. When lying on mattress it sinks right down but comes back up when off it. Can't roll without waking. Have terrible sleeps & really sore backs. Retailer sent complaint to manufacturer as it has 10 year warranty. Slumbercare said body… Read more
impressions is expected & to measure it with a broom across bed & if more than 5cm dip they will look at it but it's not 5cm with no pressure on the bed. It sinks further down when lying on it. They expect us to pay freight to send it to them to look at it leaving us no bed to sleep on in the interim while they take who knows how long to look at it. Then if they decide it's not covered by their standards in the warranty they charge us to fix it & for the freight back to us which will probably cost more than the crappy mattress. So basically their warranty is bogus. They've made it really hard to avoid people using the warranty. Had to go out & buy a new mattress as I need a decent sleep. Will never buy a Slumbercare made mattress ever again!
