Smart swab? More like Scam swab – I saw the TV commercial, and thought it was the solution to my earwax problems. However, its design issues render it impossible to enter the ear canal, let alone remove any earwax. Even a simple Q-tip could do better.

Total Fraud – This thing doesn't work and it can damage your ears (might even block it at the first use). Never put anything in your ear apart from some oil and water. Ear cleans automatically after showering with warm water and the tools marketed to clean the ears is scam! Please Protect Yourself Stay Safe Show details

Dissappointed – I purchased "Smart" Swab which arrived pretty fast and came with replacement tips. However, in the supplied instruction sheet, they clearly show a storage container that should have come with them as I have seen on different online sites. To my shock I discovered that they have now been discontinued (there were many negative..."do not buy" reviews) which makes me wonder if someone has just sold me their own as new stock! Not happy at all. :( Show details

Scam - doesn't work at all – Doesn't work or even fit in the ear. The cheap flimsy plastic screw attachment breaks off when I try to insert it in my ear. It didn't get one bit of wax out and I have a lot of wax. Disappointed.

Definitely a Gimic – Wish I'd done a product review on this....whilst seemingly a good concept it doesn't do what it says it will do....definitely over priced for what it is. Wouldn't recommend it at all.

waste of money – I bought this smart swab believing that I may finally be able to remove excess ear wax in a safe manner. However on using it, I soon discovered that it does not do what it states it will do. Both my wife and I tried it and all I can say is that it is completely useless at removing earwax. The inserts are so soft that even if you have ear wax it… Read more

will just roll over it and not remove it. We know this for a fact because after trying this out with no luck , on using a cotton bud it removed the wax. If you were thinking of buying this item, don,t. It is a complete waste of money.Probably explains why they are popping up in all the 2 dollar type shops.

Good idea - needs refine or redesign – This space age ear cleaner looks amazing. It is a spiral screw made of soft silicon that is supposed to screw the wax out of my ear. Unfortunately, I find the wide base of the screw where it mates to the plastic handle is too large and clumsy to fit at the opening of my ear. I lose about 1 cm penetration, just at the opening of my ear so the… Read more

result is hardly any smart swab silicon screw enterd my ear canal.

I cannot get much of the soft silicon screw into my ear, so it doesn't work for me. It doesn't come in contact with the dry wax.

I would need the silicon screw to be twice as long to get inside my outer ear canal.

Other people's ears may be different, so try and see what happens for you.

Such a shame this thing is too short. If only they had manufactured the soft silicone spiral as double the current length.
