Excellent Quality Irrigation System – We wanted for a wifi controlled irrigation system for our daughter's new house in Ivanhoe. She has been unable to return to Australia for over a year and wanted the ability to control watering remotely. This included two sections of lawn, one over 250 square metres, vegetable patch, fruit trees and nine separate garden beds. The quote received was not cheap, being $8+k, which was a little daunting. Working on a farm in central Victoria part of the quote relied upon us putting crossovers under two 1500mm wide brick paths. As these had reinforced concrete underneath it was proving so time consuming we asked Smartwater if they could do the work and add the cost to the quote. They replied they would do the work at no cost and also upgrade the controller. It took a team of two men four days plus assistance on two additional days from another member to complete the work. What really impressed was the attitude of the workers. Nothing was too difficult for them and cheerfully did additional work which added to their time. They were so careful laying pipes in a recently established new garden and ensuring everything worked perfectly. One was a horticologist whose advice helped us with a few issues. The quality of equipment was excellent with stainless steel joining clips, top range controller and pipes, lawn sprinklers, air pressure release and flush valves, clearing taps on all pipe lines, rain sensor, backflow prevention device, filters, spare solenoid cables back to the controller for future expansion etc, etc. If you want a first rate professional quality system specifically designed to suit your house, then Smartwater would be well worth a call.
