Booked and paid for 2 sessions over one weekend. Automated booking charged me for 4 sessions. First photographer was a "no show". 2nd photographer is holding majority of my photos for ransom for additional money. Paid 4xprice and am beyond disappointed that I can never get images of my special occasion. Never risk using this company

Absolute trash of a business and website. The website does not let customers ask the photographers questions, and the photographers are not always honest. They post studio pictuers indicating they have a studio, but once you pay $500 and book a session, turns out the photographer is just a guy with a camera!! Their website has numerous problems… Read more

they have not fixed for ages. It keeps telling me my password is incorrect, and when I ask for a reset password link, it never arrives. I've been locked out of my account for a month and there is no customer service to help me out.

Booked a photographer with Snappr who has cancelled two days out from the event! Now we are scrambling to get a photographer ourselves. They replaced him in the booking with a terrible photographer (whose work we had seen on booking and told snappr that we did not like) and we don’t want to go ahead with him. They are impossible to reach over the phone to sort this out/ get a refund.

The worst company I’ve ever dealt with. The most unresponsive customer service. The day before when they told me the photographer I booked for my best mate’s wedding proposal…was going to fall through - they took 4-6 hours to get back to me with responses during business hours. The person they offered for this cancellation had a terrible… Read more

portfolio. No wedding photo experience. She had experience shooting cars. I told them I would have to find someone else and probably pay double the price unless they could show me someone suitable. Then once again, no response for 6 hours. It was 5pm by this time (and the shoot was at 11am). I told them I could wait an hour. I waited 3 more hours. No response. They don’t have a phone hotline either that you can call. I asked for a call. Obviously then I had to pay deposit and book someone else on a different platform. I told them just give me a refund.

They didn’t respond till 9pm and said - “can’t refund can’t exchange. Read out Terms of Service.”

These people are out of their minds. They think they can falsely advertise, not give you any service and then take the whole fee (without any photographer travelling or shooting anything). This was $700. I have never posted a bad review in my entire life. But I plan to start an arbitration case against these guys, obviously not for the money, but to just stick it to them. You guys need to get your stuff together.

The obviously offshore staff member “[Name Removed]” who I spoke to was so poorly trained.

Btw: The (now fiance) said yes.

acknowledging that the defects needed correction. I escalated the issue to the supervisor, [Name Removed], but unfortunately, he displayed the same lack of accountability and integrity. He ignored the fact that the photos were defective and also refused to take responsibility, instead asking me to pay extra to fix the problems. We need these photos for our new website, and we can't use the low-quality images provided. I strongly advise against using Snappr for your photography needs.

future bookings. Can't comment on services really as it was a failure at the get go. Don't seem to really care about user experience. We have sourced other solutions now of course - luckily it wasn't too important a booking. I definitely would not recommend anything mission critical (e.g., weddings, birthdays etc) even though this was a birthday present it wasn't for a party luckily.

While their marketing and sales process is slick, I was pretty much railroaded into accepting a photographer by their sales person without having any real choice. The prices are not cheap, cheaper than a real professional, but fair more expensive that hiring a freelancer.

I fond the whole experience there after just terrible.

The one assigned to me was incredibly unprofessional. She didn't have time for a 10 minute Zoom because she was "too busy". I had no real chance to develop rapport or provide a real creative brief to her ... BTW, the photos turned out nothing like I had asked. This is the real difference between a professional and someone who takes photos. A real professional will seek to understand the brief and add value. A person with a camera will take photos and see the whole thing as transactional. And this is exactly what happened.

She was argumentative the whole way through, and dismissive and rude.

When I voiced my concerns to 'Snappr' they avoided me for days. Then when eventually I got through they said their photographer was "straightforward". If being rude is described as something else, fair enough. Apparently she couldn't shoot outside in the rain because it would affect the camera. Yeah, right. Like photographs have never been taken outside in drizzle before. LOL.

She told me that i was not her customer and basically Snappr customers are of little value to her. The final product was sub-par and not what I expected.

Although I didn't rate them on their site, it was alleged I left a one start rating for her (I didn't, but wonder if this is a line they run).

Honest to god I didn't want her to do the shoot and requested a replacement. After learning she had a 1 star review, she came back at me in an aggressive and entitled manner. I told Snappr I want nothing to do with her. Yet, she was haranguing me saying "she did everything she was asked to do". (Well no, I didn't get that opportunity). However, this is not remotely a response I would expect from a genuine professional or creative.

She then proceeded to undermine me and hustle our client for a good review.

I wouldn't recommend this service. In layman's terms, the whole thing sucks. Wish I'd use a professional service.

never accepted the booking as it is too far from his last booking he would not be able to make it. We contacted Snappr who advised we would need to go onto their website and report the issue. This action would then penalize the photographer although he was not at fault. I emailed and attempted to contact customer service 3 times to no avail. If we were to cancel on our end, we lose the entire amount, if the photographer were to cancel he would be penalized. Extremely poor service on Snapprs part to confirm on the photographers behalf. The photographer went above and beyond in this instance - he was able to finish his previous booking a little earlier to make it in time for ours. I still have not received any email back from Snappr. DO NOT USE - AVOID AT ALL COSTS.

photographer was a no-show. The worst part is now I'm getting the run around about my refund. Please just find a photographer the traditional way. Obviously, this is hit or miss. Glad I was able to get my shoot through a legitimate photography service. A SCAM – Do not use this service, they take your money upfront and will not help after that. I had multiple editing issues with my photo's such as cropping, overexposure, photoshopping. I asked for the photos to be redone correctly which were not then asked for a refund and they said it was my fault for not being specific on which images had issues. Absolutely terrible

They just want credit card details – It’s all about putting your credit card details in. That’s all they are interested in. There’s no way to ask any details about the photographer, their experience, or specific requests. Customer service simply never responds to you. Awful.

Economical family photo shoot – We had a family get together and I booked a photo shoot on a whim through Snappr and it went well 2 locations with both posed and candid photos. Received really fast and then we printed what we wanted it was so much better than the exhorborantly priced “packages” you can get. Will use again.

we have to cancel the photoshot as the photographer requested for travel cost in the last minute – We made a corporate event photoshot booking in early Feb 2023 for a photoshot in mid March 2023. A photographer is appointed when the booking is made in early Feb. cost was requested just a few days prior to the event which made me feel that I am stuck and has no choice but to accept this cost. I called another photographer and cancel this photoshot as I do not like this experience and how the additional fee is charged towards the last minute. After cancellation, the back office called and mentioned that the photographer has cancelled the additional travel cost. I think this is not the way a service should be provided. If the photographer has to drive a long distance, then additional travel cost should be provided and informed upfront when the booking is made. I think this will be acceptable to everyone. By leaving this additional cost towards the last minute and leaving no much room for rearrangement, this is not a good experience. If a job is too far away, the photographer should reject the job and allocate to another person who can be nearby. If accepting a job that is far away, travel cost should be informed upfront and not towards the last minute. Overall, the refund and cancellation is smooth but I am giving the overall experience 1 star and I hope this scenario can be minimised so other people do not have to go through the same problem as us.
