Software Depot

Purchased on-line, received a bunch of junk mails, but no product key. Tried to call phone number, not connected. Eventually found a number that rang through - "not able to take your call", tried to go via Chat - would not work. Not sure whether they are a scam, but certainly not customer focused. I wont buy from them again. Hopefully I can get my money back via PayPal.

bad experience – Provided incorrect on line program advice for purchase, then did not provide any support ( call back or email ). Will not provide refund or reply to requests. Think twice - out of pocket $300.

Very satisfied – On behalf of a club I purchased MS Office 2021 and Win 11 pro upgrade. The Office key initially supplied was not recognised by Microsoft but support agent Paul promptly emailed through a replacement which was recognised immediately. from Home to Pro but it transpired that this was a key for a fresh install of Win 11 Pro not an upgrade from Win 11 Home to Pro. Software Depot did not have that kind of upgrade key and without hesitation refunded the purchase price of the key that I had purchased. Paul was excellent. He understood the issues from a customer perspective, and gave clear and concise instructions about how to move forward.

Charged international transaction fee – I have been charged international exchange fee which was not mentioned in the bill. Was surprised when I checked my credit card transaction. Bought MS office from them on 3rd Jan 22.

Easy cheaper than on the Microsoft website with an extra 10% off – HI, I used to benefit from Office 365 with Uni. I graduated last month and realized my Word, Excel, were gone! I looked at the Microsoft website and just googled to find competitive options. I came to check the site on Product Review. One review was negative, but I still gave it a go. Easy peasy I saved $60 on my Home and Student 2019 office pack!!

365) and it was making it impossible to install the version I needed. Microsoft's own help team were next to useless and fortunately referred me back to the retailer of the Software to help rectify the issue (Software Depot).

Ping @ SoftwareDepot is a true asset to the team and was able to fix what Microsoft itself could not! Helped fully uninstall the old Microsoft Office 365 that was causing the problem and then reinstalled and also finalised the activation with Microsoft to complete the job. Very thorough.

Cannot rate Ping or Software Depot highly enough.

had previously been sold and authenticated in another country, that the product key was being fraudulently resold along with a counterfeit Microsoft Office program, and that it was not genuine. DO NOT purchase products from this website. The company is engaged in fraudulent, illegal conduct. Purchase Microsoft software from this seller at your peril. I have lodged formal reports with Microsoft, PayPal, my credit card company, ASIC, and Consumer Affairs Victoria, and it is my intention to lodge a formal report with Victoria Police and the Australian Federal Police. Hopefully, they will be out of business soon.

Excellent Customer Service – I ordered software from this company and was given a free upgrade which was much appreciated. When I ran into problems with the activation key recently, I received prompt, efficient and friendly service to solve the problem. I recommend this company.
