adding some yogurt/ icecream/slim milk along with various fruits. Since the blender cup is 600ml, it is suitable for 1-2 person. Generally speaking, it is a good blender with reasonable price.

Second time using and smoke was coming from motor – I really liked the idea of the soho blender.... But after using it a couple of times it started to smell of plastic and burning. Smoke came out of the motor and i was worried it was going to catch on fire. I do not recommend! Spend a little more on something decent. Only used 5 or 6 times!

Good value, has good seals and bottle lids don't leak – Excellent. Directions say use for max 30 seconds then cool down - this is ample for me as I just pulse it about six times, total approx time 15-20 seconds and it's done. Only 300w motor so not built for normal ice - can use couple small cubes. I add icecream instead. Paid $19 free delivery!

Burning smell, plastic burns on bench on FIRST use – Purchased this product and on FIRST use it had a bad burning smell and left plastic burns on the bench. Do not buy as the product is very inferior to other models. Hopefully I get a refund from Deals Direct.

Smoke, plastic burns on bench. Twice used – This blender was used twice, and on the second use its motor stopped driving the blender, began to smoke, and left burn/burnt plastic barks on the bench top out of the fan in the base. Would not use.

Excellent smoothie maker at a bargain basement price – Purchased online as breakfast smoothie maker. Reviews on the oo.com.au website were good and, at $49.95 + delivery, it was hardly a super high risk purchase. Got to say I love it. Fast and efficient at making the breakfast smoothie, extra bottles with "drink" lids so it's literally less than 2 minutes from go to whoa, easy to clean and sits well on the bench.
