Sole Mare Sardines

Great tasting sardines – I believe I've tried nearly every brand of sardine available in supermarkets in my local area and have found sole mar to be the best tasting getting a little expensive of late so I only buy when on special I buy the next best brand in-between supermarket specials but there is no doubt in my mind that sole mar are the best in my opinion.

Delicious Sardines – The most delicious sardines I have tasted for a long time. Highly recommend to eat on toast . Mash the sardines and add a drop of vinegar . Very reasonable priced. Enjoy

Great sardines! – Good tasting sardines, perfect size and texture. Pity about the choice of seed oil to bath them in. Other than that, the sardines are perfect and the wood smoke flavour is worth savouring. Would not regret to buy again.

Great sardines, why the low quality oil? – The Sardines.from this brand are my favourite. They do offer some varieties with Olive oil, but these wood smoked ones which I really enjoy are packed in low quality seed oils. One of the health considerations that people need to be more aware of is the Onega 3/6 ratio, and by packing healthy fish in rubbish oil just totally negates the health potential.

Great quality and taste !!! – Delicious and healthy! I added to my diet. Smoked touch in taste is such wonderful. neet and clean packing, such nice fillets. I grabbed around 12 packs, will try to make a recipe. Thanks

Best sardines I have ever eaten – Firstly I got these because of your packaging, opened them and said wow they look amazing in the can. The taste... wood-smoking them is such a good idea, they taste so good, I will continue to buy your brand.

Quality fish in a neat can – Will be buying more of these. I agree with others these are not the mushy variety, though they are a smaller sardine. The can is great, usually with others brands, you pull the lid back and your hand gets covered in the oil. Not the cheapest but I think the Brisling sardines are possibly better for you as they come from very pure waters.

Best Sardines Ever – Smoked Chilli sardines are super smokey but still have great (but not overpowering) fish flavour. They are SPICY (not for wimps) and are perfect with a drizzle of mayonnaise and a dash of malt vinegar.

JUST THE THING – Great tasting sardines, wood smoked, found them recently in COLES. Reading about sardines they seem JUST THE THING for better health, a can a day may keep toxins away. Great

Perfectly prepared sardines - so very good – Absolutely delicious - I salivate just thinking about them on freshly buttered bread. My favourite is the smoked with chilli. The sardines are well packed and easy to open, They have a nice firmness which I really enjoy biting into (other brands seem to boil them to an unpleasant mushy texture). I always look out for them when going in the supermarkets and buy them in bulk when on special.

Wood smoke flavored wonders! – As soon as the tin was opened the enticing aroma of gentle wood smoke hit me. A wonderful sight of delicate little fish snug in their rows, lightly bronzed from the smoking process. The round tin held a generous amount of delicious sardines. By far the best sardines I have had from a tin and I will only be buying Sole Mare from now on

Perfect sardines at last – It is many years since I have tasted sardines this good. Have tried many brands. When I saw Sole Mare on the shelf I thought, why not try them? So I did, and they are delectable!

Sole Mare Sardines – These were on special at Coles so I decided to give them a go, ( $3.50/$2.80 on special) Comes in three flavours - plain unsmoked, smoked with lemon or smoked with chilli 120g, all in rapseed oil, wild caught from Latvia. I went with the chilli & was very happy, they are a smaller sardine so they don't have the larger bones. I will be buying them again. Yes you can buy 65c sardines but these are top end
