Reliable TV/DVD Combo – This is one of the most affordable TV/DVD combos on the market. It has been almost a year and it is still going strong. It was the perfect size unit for limited space, but big enough to enjoy a good movie as a family. It is cheaper than some TV only units on the market. Show details
Looks great and affordable – Wanted a TV for the bedroom and something not too expensive and this did the trick. Pick it on sale too. Very happy with the purchase. Also comes with a DVD player, don't use it much but still good for those old movies in the back of the TV unit. Sound and picture is average, and the remote takes a sec to respond. But considering the price can't really ask for more. Show details
Amazing tv – We actually had this bought for us by my mother inlaw. We have never really liked soniq before but know that we own one we have changed our minds. Soniq is a great brand and we probably won't ever get another brand. It has great picture quality and great sound. Show details

You get what you pay for – Purchased this TV because it was cheap and I really have no one to blame but myself. The picture quality is really quite terrible, as is the sound quality on this television, (as are most soniq TVs) If you want a cheap TV I'd stay away from soniq as every TV as theirs that I have owned was very poor Show details
Awfully Cheap – Ok, it was cheap and I have learnt my lesson. Purchased 14 months ago and used in a guest room, so very little use. The sound quality was appalling, picture quality passable. There was always a delay between pressing the remote button and a response from the TV, which led to some confusion. The DVD player was never used because when wall mounted it was very difficult to access. You'll note the past tense, yes it is dead. Please don't buy one. Show details
worst tv – I know its only a cheapie but I expect it to work on the few times I use it .I probably won't buy this brand again.. the remote won't always turn it on and it does not have a power button on the actual set ,I may be a luddite but I cannot work it out Show details
Good for the money – Purchased as a monitor but not suitable for close up viewing. Used as TV now and is OK for that purpose. Bought a sound bar and the plug on the TV seemed faulty, thought about returning it but after some fiddling with the jack and only pushing it in halfway it worked. Show details
Incompetent warranty service, faulty design RMU (Remote Control Unit) & DVD – This product was bought on eBay on 17-12-2016 with 18 months warranty, eBay "Buyers Protection" cover for the Return when item is "NOT as Described" on its listing or/& Faulty Item" full Refund &180 days same protection from Paypal, which was used to pay it. The TV works well on the limited number of functions on its body when used manually, that… Read more
is very inconvenient for an elderly person, whom it was bought for.
However, most of its functions, including the DVD, can only be accessed by the use of a RCU, type QT1D, the design of which is faulty as it burns out the 2AAA batteries after only 3-5 minutes period of time, thus makes it very expensive, frustrating & very hard to use. The DVD also malfunctions whether it's due to the RCU fault or its own defect.
This serious problems were brought to Soniq's Melbourne-based Warranty Service attention several time to 1st contact officer [name removed], who was rude & demanded paid by the Buyer return of the included in delivered box with TV, faulty RCU. As this is against the eBay policy & covered by Soniq's 18 months Warranty, he was informed, thus he handed over the matter to a female officer [name removed]. She emailed me several times on my personal email address & NOT on eBay as appropiate & arranged 2-ce for RCUs of the same type to be posted, which were with the same fault. Being a Technically educated & experienced person, I advised an Universal RCU to be supplied to replace their factory defected RCU type for this model, which was refused & a 3d oficer [name removed] took over from her, assuring me, that he will post 2 new RCUs : 1 same as the others & 1 type QT1E to be tried. All of those were received & NONE worked normally. The batteries, which were used on all 4 RCUs, that are here, were tested prior to that in the RCU, which is used in my house big screen smart TV with DVD of a much more advanced TV brand, where they work well, but after being for that limited time in each of those 4 Soniq made RCU were empty & did not work at all.. Finally I called eBay Customer Support, who arranged for a return at the Seller expence, but Soniq refused to pay for it, making me wait for such, paid by eBay till 26-02-2017. I'm physically disabled person & need to ask somebody else to lift the heavy box to load it wherever be required. That fact was brought to the attention of Soniq, but there was NO responce. Today is the 68th day since I paid the cost & delivery fee of this TV, etc , but have been unable to use it has NOT yet been return, due to Soniq's unwillingness to meet their obligation for supplying a defective item as well as to compensate me for the distress & total inconvenience, which they NOT respond about. It's appalling, that they refused to buy a return pick up the box from my home & deliver it to them in Melbourne by the same tracking company, with which they have a contract to deliver their products to customers, but decided to inconvenience me further ?! I'll be contacting both eBay & PayPal later on today attempting to end this noxious situation. My advice to those, who get attracted to Soniq's advertised discount sales, taking place online often is: DONT BUY their products. Which can be faulty as the 1, that I bought, because you'll be subjected to a distressing & disappointing experience with Soniq's irresponsible lack of proper check of products they send to customers & the purchase's following Warranty Service!
The DTV in it turns of all of a sudden, and it's happened 3 times! – It's not a good TV, we've had it for 4 years and then it just suddenly goes of like that, before we left, it was fine, but when we got back, it was not working. I do not recommend this TV for over 3 years or the same thing will happen to you. Show details
No frills but good quality reliable TV – Purchased in July 16 so have had for 7 months. Initially not too happy with the picture quality however did had TV too close to viewing point in a small room. Subsequently moved to larger room with markedly improved results! In my opinion, a great value for money product that (so far) has had no issues. Show details
