and then playing with it's features and function it only got better. With a simple USB you can record shows up to two weeks in advance. The built in HD tuner is more robust than the LG's too. Yes I understand this is a smaller TV and cost 1/3 of the LG's......but what an eye opener.....it's a great TV for the money! I can say I never heard of the brand Soniq before.....but when it comes time to update my larger TV (which clearly isn't that far off seeing the performance of this inexpensive Soniq...... the LG is only 2 years old!) I'll be checking out Soniq's products. It's clear after playing with this unit the brand can offer significant value for money! Bottom-line.....if this TV is on your list I find it hard to believe you're going to find a better product for the money. Hope this helps.....
