Bang for Buck thats for sure – great little unit. I think it has pretty good quality sound for the size of it. Has optical audio input and also Bluetooth for streaming music, standard radio works well. Goes pretty loud and the sound carries very well. I had it outside over the weekend and it well and truly filled the area nicely without being too offensive to the neighbours. in saying that it could easily be made loud enough to do so.

Overall am very happy with the HT-GT1 and would recommend it if you can still find one anywhere

A rare gem, as far as Soundbars go – Goodluck finding this baby-Muteki in the stores! Scored a bargain on Dick Smith's wind-up sales for less than $200aud! RRP$400. 260W 2.1 channel sound Party Chain Mode - so you can link it to other speakers :D NFC one-touch listening Bluetooth - have it synced to my TV, Mac and iphone! BASS BAZUKA - Has a solid kick to it with nice deep tones

LED illumination - Looks interesting in dim lighting

Clear Voice technology and USB interface - brilliant sound for watching all sorts of media

Songpal App - Provides more customised control of sync-able units.

All n all, if you need a Soundbar, seek out one of these baby monsters.

If you're familiar with Sony's 'big sound' systems, you would be familiar with their Muteki ('Invincible' in Japanese) range. They launched with the 7.2 Hi-Fi systems, which is 9 speakers with 2600W, escalating up to 3200 I believe. Which is crazy power for a lounge room.

More recently, Sony followed these massive house monsters with micro and mini Muteki units with disco lights, which are basically portable and designed solely for pissing off your neighbours!

Back to the Soundbar! This bad boy falls into the 'invincible' family!

Long story short - I moved from a reasonably isolated house where I let my 7.2 Muteki system run free, then to an apartment building where I was forced to contain 2000 of her 2600 watt, watt? In the butt! The two growlers (subs) collected dust and the surround speakers were disconnected and placed in a cupboard for a very long time.

Eventually, I called it and downsized my baby into this little baby. Packing only a 10th of the power, but only taking up 20th of the footprint. It's all relative you see. I reserved myself to knowing that these newer units come with 'Party-chain', which means when my premises allow, I'll purchase a couple of Mini-Muteki speakers to accompany this pocket rocket and amp my system up again!
