Very well priced, clarity superior to competitors – I first bought these at supercheap auto about 2 and a half years ago. My father and I listened to these on a display board against other products. For under $150 these were by far the clearest 6 inch diameter speakers, not only in their range, but also in several other car audio stores. Being a 4 way speaker, it has one woofer, one midrange, and two tweeter cones packaged into each unit.

The midrange could be considered too loud, and the bass isn't very powerful unless in a sealed door/enclosure.

For extra bass, I recommend these speakers be paired with 6x9" speakers or a subwoofer; and certainly a good audio Equaliser (I personally use the Parametric EQ of my head unit/cd player). If you use an EQ to pull the midrange considerably down, increase the bass, and drop the treble slightly, these speakers will sound even better.

These speakers have been reliable. Only recently did the treble stop working in one speaker, (possibly due to corrosion from salty air, being near the sea) however this was remedied by rotating it 180 degrees in the door (upside down). Plus they have 2 years warranty in Australia, please check your region to confirm warranty period that applies to you.
