Still The Best – I've used TF-1000's since I was young and in my opinion they're still the best basketball going around. The ball feels well weighted and balanced and the leather has enough grip while still allowing the ball to roll off your hand when shooting or dribbling. My next basketball will be another Spalding TF-1000. Good quality, well balanced and weighted basketball.

A Great Ball – I have been using the TF1000 for a while and couldn't go past it. My original TF1000, which is visibly worn is still a great basketball. It handles well making shooting and dribbling a pleasure. I also have a size 6, and apart from being small it displays the same features as the size 7. A comfortable easy to use ball

Terrible – Very unreliable "bounce", different to size 7 TF-1000 Spalding balls. Very disappointing. I will switch to buy Molten balls from now on. I wonder why the size 6, Spalding TF-1000 basketballs do not have standard bounce quality. I bought several new TF-1000 size 6 Spalding balls and they never have the same bounce. It is difficult to practice… Read more

shooting accurately. Why is it different to size 7? Difficult to practice the shooting accuracy with size 6, TF-1000 Spalding basketballs, as they bounce differently. Why is it different to size 7?

The wide seams are great to get the fell of the ball along with the soft leather surface. Breaking in any new ball is difficult as i found with the Spalding. After a sort time it was fantastic to shoot with. I have had the… Read more

Good – A good ball in the leather range of basketballs, and although it's dearer than the rubber balls it's worth paying the extra for. Has kept good bounce and grip. A good quality leather basketball. Better than the synthetics for those players ready to take it more seriously. Grip has stayed good so far, but we are taking care of it by keeping it as… Read more

an indoor only. Not as good as a Molten equivalent, but then again not the same price either. As I said we are taking care of it by not using it outside as we know someone who does and the grip has worn quickly.
