Speedo Biofuse Training Fins
2 reviews
Best fins for the money – It was difficult to choose a fin especially as a non-swimmer but I took the plunge and purchased these and they are fantastic! The best thing is that it allows most strokes which is quite easy and easy to clean as well :) Highly recommended
Best training fins I've had – First up, I should disclose that I am not a "swimmer". I love going to the pool and swimming laps, but I'm the girl in the slow lane who does a few laps of freestyle, some breaststroke, some kick-boarding, back to freestyle and repeat for 45 minutes or so. You know the one. I like to mix up my laps and fins are great for this. They also help my speed so I can keep up with others in the lane. The Biofuse fins are comfortable and have a great short, stiff blade. You aren't hyper aware of wearing them but they make a huge difference in one's speed and power. I recommend getting them to fit firmly, but not too tight. The sizing is confusing, best to go off the European measurement (eg 37-38). Eg, I am a size 7-8 women's shoe (European 38) but have the size 4-5 fins. Comfortable, compact, effective Sizing is confusing

Dodgy review, I am a consistent long distance swimmer. You know you have them on, you are also slower with them than without unless you kick constantly. They are a good training aid because it is a case of kick or sink. But they should be called workout fins, not training fins. I told my training buddies I had new fins, our first stop at 1500 m saw them cold and laughing waiting for me to catch up.
