Spika 18 Gun Premium Digital Safe
MPN: SCH11 review
Buy Cheap, Buy Twice – As far as I am concerned, if you buy something cheap that will only just do the job, you are only going to be upgrading it a little bit down the track as I've learnt. I bought a reputable brand this time around with good reviews, and it is just an amazing piece of kit, even down to the engraving in the locking pins with the Spika logo, there is just extra attention to detail.
It includes drill down bolts for your wall securing if you want, it comes with a sensor-activated light (runs on x3 AAA batteries) which turns on when you open the safe so you can see what you are doing and an extra-large lockbox up top for extra storage. It says 18 guns, but I highly doubt you'd want to do that with this safe it would be like a sardine tin, but 10-12 comfortably would be easy peasy.
It isn't glossy, it is coated with what feels like a fibreglass sheet, which means no prints left on glossy paintwork and any scratches you get down the track are basically hidden by the finish.
Due to the weight, this is a no-bolt down required safe (check your individual state requirements).
