For $72, this level of service is simply unacceptable. I understand they may have been short-staffed, but customers should not be charged full price for an incomplete and poor-quality job. I left feeling completely ripped off and will not be returning.

The interior was still dirty, with visible white flakes all over the centre console and dashboard. The door handles were covered in brown smudge marks, and when I opened the sunroof, the glass and roof area had not been cleaned at all.
To make matters worse, my plastic floor mats were missing. When I spoke to the staff member who cleaned my car, he admitted he had accidentally put them in someone else’s vehicle and left only the fabric mats underneath. Despite acknowledging this mistake, he refused to offer any compensation and only suggested re-cleaning the car on the spot, which wasn’t possible as I had to get to work.
I then asked to speak to the manager, Deep. Initially I was told he wasn’t available, but after calling the number provided, he appeared from the office. The interaction that followed was completely unacceptable. Instead of addressing the issue, I was accused of lying, called “crazy” and a “horrible person,” and told I had “karma coming.” When I tried to clarify that I believed the mats had been misplaced rather than stolen, he dismissed my concerns entirely.
I asked to review security footage, but he avoided showing the relevant parts. I also explained that I don’t live nearby and couldn’t return, but he said that wasn’t his problem. He briefly offered $30 compensation, which wouldn’t cover the $90 car matts or fixing the incomplete services, then withdrew that offer altogether.
Unfortunately, I had already paid in full, trusting that I would receive a professional service. Instead, I was left with a poorly cleaned car, missing items, and extremely unprofessional and disrespectful treatment.
I strongly recommend avoiding this location.
Do not take your care there. They damaged the paint of my car and refuse to fix it. Terrible service. I paid $500 for full detailing, cut and polish and ended up with a car with damaged painting. Before and after photos attached. I'm taking them to the small claim courts.
DO NOT USE THEM! They damaged my car paint during a car detail. However the worse part is that they don't answer customer care emails or phone calls. I will be putting in an ACCC complaint and taking them to the small claims court to fund the repainting that is required.

After inspecting my vehicle, [Name Removed] asked when I wanted the car back. I replied, “1.5 hours,” as indicated on the website. He abruptly told me that wasn’t possible due to how busy they were on weekends and said it would be 2 hours instead. I accepted that, although the tone of the interaction was far from welcoming.
He then pointed out some bugs on my windscreen and told me that this should have been booked under a different package online. I found this baffling — bugs from everyday driving should surely be covered under a regular wash. I mentioned that his tone and attitude made it feel like they didn’t really want my business. He responded by saying the website doesn’t list the packages correctly. But that raises the question — why is that the customer’s problem?
I’ve booked the same wash numerous times without issue, and yet this time, the experience was frustrating and unprofessional. If the website is misleading, that’s something the business should fix, not pass on as a burden to the customer.
Unfortunately, the interaction with [Name Removed] has left a poor impression. Perhaps he’s better suited to a non-customer-facing role. In any case, I’ll be taking my three cars elsewhere for future washes.

Dropped my car in to Werribee Star Car Wash for an interior detail, $249 and 3.5 hours later and this is how my car was returned to me. My odometer and petrol gauge is also no longer working since picking my car up so I have to fork out money for an electrician to fix.
$59 car wash - and large areas in the interior were not even wiped. I felt robbed. At that price point - I don’t inspect and interior detail - but a bare minimum should be that all surfaces be wiped down. Unacceptable !!!
Last time they broke my electric key and it cost me $100 to replace and today after they charged me $89 they took me to my car to show me they smashed it. DO NOT TAKE YOUR CAR TO THESE PEOPLE!!!

$136.49 all up and what I got was a $40 wash. Out of the 14 services listed that I paid for you have done 5 and very poorly. I want my money back. The Mag wheels were not done, Vacuum seats and boot not done, Clean door and boot jambs not done, Clean dashboard and console not done, Clean door trims not done, Remove tar and bugs not done, Full duco liquid wax polish not done. The price increased by $46 to $399. The car is in great condition although needed a polish especially on the bonnet as it was stating to feel a little rough. We also specifically requested that the inside surround of the boot be cleaned and polished. Upon pick up the car appeared as though it hadn’t been polished at all. It was still rough in places and had polish smeared on the handles and near the windows. We asked for this to be rectified. Ravinder (manager) came over with a polish pad and a bottle of spray and started polishing the bonnet which was making a difference so this tells me he hadn’t done this prior. He also tried to tell me that they rough the bonnet before painting it in the factory. He treated me like an absolute fool and basically stole the $399 as he didn’t put any effort into the car even though he promised the world at drop off. Don’t be take for a fool - never take your car here for anything. So disappointing.

to the Hornsby outlet and was told by rude staff that I needed to pay extra to clean the wheels (brake dust). Explained that at their St Ives branch or any other car wash, this had never been raised. The dude was dismissive and absolutely disconnected. Anyways, took the car and upon return, the wheels looked just hosed than washed. Reluctantly took the car back home and to my shock and horror found out that the dude had taken a chunk off my wheel against the kerb. Ignorance is obviously a bliss. Hope KARMA gets you. Never again. People, please do a walk-around b4 parting with your car. Dishonest bunch.

I have always been VERY happy with my service at Star Car Wash at Knox City near My Car. What has happened? I got back to my car and actually thought they had possibly had a bit of a scrape with another car but on inspection it was just dirt. I showed the guy and he said I needed a cut and polished. I got a rag and cleaned it off myself.

Last year my husband purchased me a gift voucher for a full car detail for $359. I booked this online so received a discount making the service $324 and was told the $25 balance would remain on the voucher. Today I purchased a $60 platinum car was and was advised that gift vouchers are single use only so I would not have any balance available to me. I believe this to be highly unethical practice and will not be using Star Car Wash again

Deserves Zero. All my tinting was destroyed after taking it here. Weird stains on upholstery as well. No point complaining as they phone you and are agressuvr from the start and tell you to prove the damage wasn't already there. Save yourself the heartache and don't go there.
$180 steam clean = MOULDY CAR SEATS They told me its quick drying process and to have the heater on for 10mins to continue the drying process, 3 days later my seats are still damp. I have been airing the car out as much as i can and now theres a musty smell coming from the seats which can only mean mold is forming. They also lost my floor mat and when asked they denied ever seeing it.

Absolutely disappointing service today from mt pleasant star car wash. Wheels still dirty and when I asked was told it was the spray they used . Open the doors that are usually cleaned around still dirty. I had my car in first and waited nearly 1 3/4hrs and still not clean. I have had to come home and clean the tyre and wheel trims myself. I have photos to prove. NOT HAPPY
