Professional construction and installation – From beginning to end I received the very best professional advice and support. Charlie, Tessa and Jazmin were responsive to my queries and very patient. Nige and Cooper were on time and most proficient in installing the aviary even cutting down a tree branch to make the aviary fit and attaching the bird protectors. Great avary, great service – I ordered my Skillion roof avary and received it in just over one week. I purchased the Skillion roof avary 1.52 x 1.52 and had the standard wire changed for the 25mm x 25mm heavy gauge wire and had the door moved from the front to the side with ease. Great company, great staff and great products – I highly recommend Steelchief products. I bought a 3m x 1.5m skillion roof aviary with bird lock door – this is a double door that sits just inside the external door of the aviary to prevent escapes. The panels were already assembled and just had to be put together, a much easier option than the kit form aviaries where everything has to be assembled from scratch, which many people wind up giving up on.

On assembly we found a problem with the bird lock door – a channel hadn’t been installed on the fabrication end at the factory which meant we couldn't fit it. Steelchief sent somebody within one week to fix the issue (they had to install a C-channel on the panel). Their employees were amazing, went further than I needed or expected and I could not commend them highly enough.

Steelchief use Australian steel, which I find important - this country’s getting sold out enough. The only thing I could fault them on was that the instruction video online could have included directions to the bird lock door (I did get a detailed drawing from them via email when I made this enquiry) but I did mention this to them and they seem to be in the process of updating some old videos so here’s hoping they include this.
