Works well – Purchased the stainless steel version that came as a kit with everything for 1x wash and distillation run. Easy to use and interesting to do. Still runs well but I added a couple more gauges to find out a bit more about what was going on (not needed- I'm just curious). If you just want to make cheap product the Still spirits system works adequately. However I'm not using their yeasts and "additives" a lot any more (better, easier and cheaper recipes on plenty of good forums).

I brought a "kit" as it was easy and more able to be re-sold if I didn't like it, or the product. It has inspired me to make my own still and develop my distillation skills further, but I'll keep the T500 and continue to use it.

If your not sure home distillation is for you the T500 is an easy and straight forward way to give it a go (and save some serious cash).

Bad – The copper condenser badly made, seals broken during assembly so they have smeared it with silicone from inside to seal the unit instead of replacing the o-rings, etc. The top hat o-ring seal was out and was actually hanging on the spiral inside. Lucky me I haven't fired it up with a wash as it was asking for an explosion. Very disappointment because $600 price mark is a bit too high for such bad assembly. I had to completely decompose the unit, clean all of it, replace all seals and fix in short. Distilling water tasted of silicone for fair time. Will never ever buy anything out of this company as a quality is just bad, I do not think they would do this as bad if it was made in China.
