Very annoying service ever.. more than ten times I entered my account verification ID. But, it again asked me to do it. Everytime my payout is cancelled. I think they are scammer.

Has anyone been able to retrieve their funds? I have had $14000 held in “reserves”. They continue to push back the payout date, and can’t tell me anymore than my account is a “risk”. I have shown countless amounts of proof showing my businesses legitimacy, to no avail. Any tips on being able to get your funds released?

What are the best alternatives to using stripe for donations to a small non-for-profit organisation?

I lean towards a bank product. Some seem to offer a free payment method where you can accept them online and via a mobile app. I think they at least offer a choice.

Ps it's about transferring credit card payments. Can your bank do that directly?

While I hate banks in general - commonwealth banks have an Australian call centre - i'd rather deal with them any day than stripe. Something I've also just found out - is if you do a search for stripe review - most sites are all bad - but there is this one company called capterra which say they have 4 plus stars. It looks as though this company is only publishing positive reviews out of 2k - and only 5 negative reviews. So disappointing that they dont' post all the reviews, shows you that there is a lot of companies that don't let customers voice their frustration

has anyone successfully retrieved their funds from Stripe? I've unfortunately been with them for over a month with no transfer of funds because they keep putting in the wrong account name ( I gave them the right details and my bank has confirmed they keep trying to deposit with the wrong name). They don't seem to be able to fix this mistake.

Hi Holly, Stripe have with held about 98k from me, did you end up getting your funds back?

That is awful!!! I did manage to get my funds back but it took 8 weeks and the reason it wasn't working was purely because they repeated put he incorrect account name on the transfers so my bank would reject them. There is absolutely no reason why a simple error like this would take so long to fix!

Hey I'm in the process at the moment where my account has been hacked. I notified them 1 month ago - we are talking about dealing with third world country call centres where everything is a script - they cough the same, they answer the phone the same - they are absolutely pathetic at customer service, I will never ever use a financial company that uses overseas call centres. I have no idea when I'll get the money back - I refuse to speak to their operators because they just have no idea how to respond. Also - Did you know - they don't like you recording them - they refuse to speak to you if you won't consent to recording - however the moment you tell them you will record them, they disconnect the call. Move elsewhere if your with STRIPE>
