Sunbeam Wine Chiller BC6300 Questions & Answers
VerifiedHow much water do you put in the wine chiller
I place the wine bottle in, then mostly fill the chiller with ice and turn it on. I then fill with water until the ice starts circulating around the bottle. Its the moving water and ice that chill the bottle quickly.
How much for one
Kim unless you want to throw your money away this is not an active chiller. It is a bucket that you put ice and water in then a silly little propeller makes the water go round. It is rubbish and Sunbeam know it. I bought one for $5 from a garage sale and felt ripped off if that is any guide !
I agree. Completely useless. Bought one from Op shop and returned it to them so ended up being a charitable donation. They probably do well be selling it, getting it back when people discover it doesn't work and then reselling it since they don't do refunds.
As far as I can tell this product is no longer available. I suspect that Sunbeam might have withdrawn this from sale some years ago. Anyway they resell their products through big home appliance resellers and if you are in Australia then I would check places like Harvey Norman. Product Review is not a place where you should be checking for prices. Or if you really wanted something to cool wine then buy an ice-bucket. The BC6300 must have been designed on April 1st.
Hi kim.I, So sorry - this product is no longer manufactured.
Will the wine chiller work with just water in it?
Hi Ally45, Unfortunately the Sunbeam Wine Chiller will require ice and water to operate. Please contact Sunbeam Customer Service by phone on 1300 881 861 or customercare@sunbeam.com.au (subject line: ProductReview.com.au) with your details, should you require any further assistance.
Regards,
Sunbeam
