Sungrow SH5K-20

No Sungrow customer assistance – Sungrow the company have not been helpful. They play games with their customers thru emails offering to help but do nothing. I have complained about the Isolar App being junk software for 2years and about it not capturing half of the required data. They give you a case number and do nothing. Stay away from Sungrow and Isolar.

Failed in 3 years – My inverter has now failed and the installer lives far off and too busy to call and look at it. Now must pay local to check. Not compatible with solaranalytics. After three months of serious haggling with Sungrow, I have a second replacement inverter and it works. Cost me $580 even though warranty applied. I installed iSolarCloud app to help monitor my system and find it has substantial failings with its reporting. Sungrow have now refused to answer my app questions and messaged me to web pages which were not available. I tried to watch Utube instructional videos but cant find anything to relate to my inverter and iSolarCloud reporting. Strongly suggest you go with a more customer friendly company as Sungrow have given me days and days of grief.
