USELESS – I purchased the umbrella about two years ago. I liked the design and technic. What a disappointment, in the slightest windy condition the umbrella turns over and I stand in the rain, not really singing. What a pity! Advertising has ceased and I wonder if still anybody is purchasing this product. As for myself, the umbrella is stuck in a drum, not to be used.

Broken after very few uses – I love the concept but mine has already has one of the "ribs" come apart that makes it impossible to open so it is useless. There is no apparent way to fix it so $60 wasted.

overpriced and not sturdy – I ordered one of these umbrellas a year ago- interesting concept and being a German company I thought the quality would be decent. It took more than 9 weeks for the damn thing to arrive. On only the third time I used it, it malfunctioned and has not worked properly since. Certainly cannot use this as an everyday umbrella because you need to schlep around this massive thing. I leave it in my car and only rarely use it, and if there is any wind the whole thing just collapses. Really not worth the money. Disappointing because I think the concept is very clever...

What a scam! – Ordered my Surprella, tested it in the office and was boasting about how amazing it was. After two weeks of owning it, I had a chance to use it in the rain, which was VERY light. heap forever, after 10min of use. I asked for a refund and they suggested a 3 day refund was all that was possible. Given it hadn't rained in that time... I was out of luck. This product is cheap and bogus and a total scam. Don't waste your money - buy a good golf umbrella with your $50 instead.

not to be dripping down your back, it doesn't really stay wet and the built in stand is awesome. Best of all though, is getting in and out of the car with its upside down motion. Amazingly better!

A friend bought a knockoff - had slightly different handle and pattern cut out of the coloured part and that one already is falling apart like every cheap umbrella i have ever had. Glad i decided to go with the real one, the quality is so much better and very obvious.

Is very sturdy and deals well with the wind.

Totally recommend it!
