Swann Max-IP-Cam
Verified2 reviews
Bad – Past its used by date in terms of image quality and the reliance on ActiveX. There are better no name brand ip cams available online cheaper. Nice set of features including ability to send emails, ftp and monitor remotely. Image quality isn't very good to identify someone. Uses unsigned ActiveX for remote monitoring so you need Internet Explorer with modified security settings.
Bad – Consider it if you want a really simple IP camera and only intend to view it using Internet Explorer. Otherwise spend the extra and buy an Axis IP cam - the image quality and better software are well worth it. Simple to set up and use Requires ActiveX control in browser. No direct access to images (so you cannot integrate it into other applications or web pages). Poor quality lens for the price.
