Swann NVR8-7300

Warranty – Running fine initially although unit is very noisy. Had it for 2 years, just discovered it is only covered for 28 months warranty and unit just died. Seems to be a common theme for this unit. Most disappointing.

Piece of junk – Terrible software, looks like something from the 1900’s. Had 2 cameras fail their night vision. Now just outside of warranty the dvr itself has completely failed. Never buying swann again!

Not good system for the money – The swann cameras was running excellent in the first six months, and then the night vision start to become like watching analog tv programs....the nvr recording start to jump from one to other time while fast forwarding, the picture is flickering some times, motion detection is rubbish, if you want to claim on warranty you have to pay the postage even the office is in south Melbourne....and they run on 25fps not 30fps like they claiming....not real time!!!

Samsung security system is a lot cheaper and they perform a lot better

with 30fps on night vision.

Never again swann

As of 23-06-16 the system stop working after 14 months of use...the warranty is finished and now I need new camera system....I'm going Hikvision.
