Swimpod

Scammed but got money back after 6 months – I was also scammed by swimpod. Initially I thought that I had been fully scanned and I would never receive a product, but it appeared that the product was sent via another company and arrived after some months. Once receiving the product it worked for two days then stopped working. After contacting swimpod on several occasions with my issues and having no correspondence back I knew something was wrong so I alerted PayPal consumer protection. ***if you pay through a PayPal you are able to recover money through them!!***

PayPal were also unable to get in touch with swim pod and had stated that they would be stripping their rights to use PayPal and charges might be laid if they failed to make contact.

The matter was finally resolved over six months and I was able to get my money back.

Swimpod responded once to PayPal and we’re extremely rude.

Worst few months of my life trying to recover lost money and deal with this company!!

Total scam. Do not use! – I purchased online 1 X waterproof iPod with headphones. This cost $260. I never received my iPod and the company never replied to any communication from me or my banking institution after I requested a charge back. I unwittingly did a direct deposit as their credit card service was not working conveniently. They have taken intellectual property from another company called Swimman which is legit. The website is slick and they have an Australian address and registered ABN. However after my research work it appears they are operating outside of Australia and are affiliated with Swimpod USA which is also a scam. I am taking them to small claims court atm. I will not stop until they are out of business. So I urge you not too use them as it is you that will be used. Hope this helps.
