Hard to get in contact with the company – Have had to contact the site a few times since buying the scooter last year, always takes at least a week for initial reply, then it's a hit and miss each day the conversation continues. getting disappointed with the power/distance very quickly. 48V 1600Watt is the way to go, although I see 2000Watt 60V are on the horizon. Anyway, this is simply powerful enough. It will reach 55KM/H and boy does it zoom along!

The 1600W SXT model is simply an upgrade of the 1000W model - no cosmetic changes. Indeed the disappointing part was opening the box and finding that my 1600W scooter was displaying 1000W on the deck. Very slack, perhaps not enough time at the Chinese factory to change the stickers. The foot deck is plastic, and therefore of inferior quality and a big negative. Why not have a cool surfboard-like wooden deck, or a metal deck ready fitted? Fortunately, I purchased a metallic deck separately as an extra, which looks great, but why not have a good quality foot deck in the first place?

All up, I really like this scooter and the fact that you can purchase spare parts. It's powerful and it just goes forever (40plus kms). There's some stuff on youtube for general repairs, not just SXT. See other brands but same design. I'm having a blast, especially with my son on board. Just keep a low profile and don't annoy people. Ride slowly around them.

Warning: if you purchase any petrol scooters, they are absolutely illegal on the road/footpaths. You will get done sooner or later, so stick to the battery version.
