bought from this company. Upon opening and using the products I had very quickly realised they had been tampered with. The seals on the bottles were all pierced and broken, some were missing completely. The products are a different colour, consistency and they smell absolutely horrendous. Like fish juice. It’s actually disgusting. They also left my hair feeling gross. These are NOT GENUINE PRODUCTS. I did email sss regarding this and instead of allowing a refund for the fish juice products, they have sent me what appears to be an email template that I imagine they have had to send out a million times stating that their products aren’t tampered with and are in fact genuine with a bunch of legal crap. My guess is they have had a legal team type this up and they copy, paste and send it to every poor sucker that gets scammed by them. They told me to take it up with the actual brand. I have bought from the brand so I know it’s not from their end. This is 100% a SSS HAIR ISSUE. And I have told them I am going to post this review, they don’t seem to care, as long as the pocket the cash, they are pure thrives.
And mark my words, I will put money on the fact that they are very likely going to respond to this review with a defensive, passive aggressive response, claiming their products are real. I cant express this enough, these products are not real.
Poor customer service and waste of time – They say they do price match, and I requested for it as I wanted to buy something else additionally. But they don’t actually do so, waste a complete waste of time. They don’t have the best customer service, why offer something if you cannot/will not honour it.

No confidence in warranty by SSS HAIR – I returned a faulty GHD platinum plus hair straightener to SSS hair, less than six months old, about five minutes after starting it beeps, flashes red and goes cold. They advise me they tested it multiple times and my straightener was not faulty… returned the faulty straightener to me, first use and it faulted again … great work SSS hair! … Read more
Fortunately, Ghd have supplied a replacement, although I bought a platinum gold, I got it replaced with plain black… very disappointing it was not replaced with like for like. Decided to video it faulting and send it to SSS and GHD showing both occasions it faulted … no response to acknowledge my email. In total 10 weeks without a working ghd straightener… new one arrive today… let’s hope it lasts more then 6 months…

wrong colour – Ordered black towels, got dark blue, was fobbed off saying that black does not exist and some other blab about the dye being superior. No customer service no explanation just on the defence.Was offered refund
Two of the products were brilliant....the third did not seem to live up to branding – Two of the Moroccan hair products were exactly as described and brilliant. The third unfortunately seemed to be a mixture of shampoo and conditioner in one...seller stated was correct conditioner and just did not suit my hair type...I have used moroccan products for a while now and have never had any problems...think this was incorrectly labelled.
Great customer service – I purchased some dog clippers from SSS and had a minor issue to no fault of them. The blade on the wahl clippers was blunt. The staff there organised a replacement blade with no hassles and super quick response. Nothing beats great customer service!
Prompt service – I placed an order on a Friday afternoon for some Wahl clippers & blades, Express Post. And the clippers arrived on Monday in Brisbane Qld. So happy, excellent service, fantastic price & I've clipped my horse before the heat!

processing a refund which is good but i really wanted that hair straightener . The website still says the hair straightener is available so they need to fix that . Honestly not worth the time and effort trying to buy from this company!!

I was very impressed with the speed in which this on-line business dispatched my order post receipt of payment. Their communication was flawless. And the price was the best I could get anywhere, and being an avid researcher I searched extensively! If you want very good price, and excellent service with speedy delivery, then Sydney Salon Supplies is the place to shop.
The Simple Things Are Often The Best – I remember when you could buy rollers/curlers everywhere. Of course I am thinking of the 60's. You could buy them at the corner shop or the supermarket or the hair dresser. Not these days. After a bit of searching I was so pleased to find these and they really work. Sydney Salon Supplies give old fashioned service and fast post. The items are well packed. What more could you want?
