Takamine GN93CE
MPN: GN93CE1 review
Awesome Acoustic-Electric Guitar - once you have the "action" fixed – Smaller than a dreadnought guitar and with 21 fretts, this is a wonderful acoustic-electric guitar that looks as great as it sounds. It is a beautifully finished guitar with some high-end features such as black pegs and gold detail but without the price. Most importantly it has a lovely, sweet melodic tone. The only thing is the action is incredibly high (that is, the strings are very high above the frett board) which is the reason why I only gave it 4 stars. This was making it incredibly hard and at some times torturous to play. I took it to my local guitar shop and paid $110 for the action to be fixed. Now it is just wonderful and a pleasure to play. It cost me about $900 and I purchased it online via the store in the link which were fabulous and it arrived quickly and in perfect condition. Can't recommend it highly enough. Takamine may not be a brand you immediately think of when it comes to guitars, but I was drawn to it because they put more into the design and look of the guitar than other brands at this price and it had great online reviews from various sites. To get the level of detail that this guitar has, you are looking at paying over $2,000. Now I have a guitar that sounds amazing and looks fabulous.
