Teac DVD Car Player – My sister bought this model for my girls xmas, well we have had nothing but trouble. They replaced the first DVD player then the second one did the same as first and just wouldn't play a DVD so I rang up company and they would not do nothing because its warranty had expired. Well I preceded to tell the guy on the other end how great Lg was as our warranty expired on our Tv and they still fixed it cost us nothing and he said yes so does Teac because of the price value. Does it really matter if the product is faulty they should cover regardless of its value?

Don't Buy if you wanna use USB – Basically, straight to the point, USB doesn't work. They already have many requirements like FAT32 file system, less than 32gb USB or 500gb HDD. But, even after using a 8gb USB with FAT32 file system with ONLY the movie, in .avi file format, which is one of the file systems it can play, it doesn't work. The video doesn't start. The other video formats is .wma I believe, which was also tried. Dvd works, but unless you're gonna use USB, don't buy.

Impressively flawed – Does it work? Well yes, in a manner. However, there are so many design flaws in this one item that one can only draw the conclusion that the design brief must have been "design a dual screen dvd player that will irritate the user in every way possible". If this is the case, they nailed it! From the need to use the remote control for every function (can't get a disk playing without it) to the impressively disfunctional holders that, should you be doing something silly like changing a dvd, require you to not only remove the player from the cover but fully unplug all cables. The second screen works only with an impressive amount of fiddling with the aforementioned cables after removal and replacement.
