iPhone App no longer available on iTune – Clock time cannot be set without app. Emailed TEAC Support, No response at all. Clock/Radio useless without app. Will not buy TEAC again as there is no support for their products.

Good – All in All for me,(apart from that little beep issue), a well spent $79 & everything works 10/10 & to top it off, it is a really sleek & stylish little unit & looks gr8 with the iphone 4. Perfect for the bedside table. I love it.!!(: Bought this 2day from Good Guys $79.00 & so far cannot fault it. I downloaded the "Free" Teac App from Itunes Apps… Read more ·  1

Store & synced to my iphone 4 & placed my iphone 4 on the dock & it all worked fine. The only slight hiccup in the beginning was when I first placed it on the dock I kept getting the message: "this accessory does not support this iphone". I didn't understand what this meant as everything seemed to be working fine but it wouldn't go away so I googled it & came up with it this answer: "Try cleaning the dock connector. There might be something shorting out one of the pins, and causing this error. A toothbrush is good for this. "Well I didn't use a toothbrush, I just wiped around the dock connector & blew in it in case there was any dust & don't know, either it was just coincidence or it did work, but I haven't had the message since. So since this, I have tested out the Time, Location, Weather, Radio(set up 5 local stations), playing my Music (sounds gr8 - just set the sound you want from your iphone/ipod EQ - I ended up choosing "small speakers") Snooze Dimmer & Alarm & so far all has & still is working gr8. For the Location, the auto search did bring up a location nearby, but I then went and manually keyed in my Town & it has stayed. Just make sure your WiFi is on, otherwise the Weather will not be able to connect. The only 1 thing about the Alarm is you can set the Alarms (2 in total) to go off with whatever song you want from your own Music. This works fine, however the normal Alarm sound is a loud single beep & at this stage I cannot work out how to stop that beep, as my song plays fine but so does the beep over the song. Not exactly what I am wanting, but to me that is a minor hiccup I will figure out. All that is displayed on my iphone 4 (through the Teac Aap) is also displaying on the clock unit itself. Oh & the unit DOES charge my iphone 4. Would have given 5 stars if it came with a remote. (That's just the lazy side coming out)

Terrible – This dock is a great idea, but unfortunately quite a poor execution. Suggest TEAC go back to the drawing board. Sync feature to the app. Manual does not come with unit - have to search internet to find it and then it will not open. Email support took 4 days to respond. Two functions not working: radio will not turn off (have to press alarm reset… Read more

button, it seems) when radio stations are added to favourites; cannot play music from iPod touch when it is docked in the unit, so wake to own music is not an option. Have 2 units with identical issues, so design fault seems likely.
