I have a WIFI extender fitted by Tech2home. I changed disconnected router and reconnected. plugged extender cable back into WAN port now nothing will connect to the extender.
I have been a subscriber of Tech2 for a number of years with much satisfaction. Customer number tech2-0173147. Now your telephone number 1300 788 071 is inoperable for me - how do I contact you for assistance? Dr John Russell 0417 191 143
Hi John, I've nothing to do with Tech2 (just a customer like you, shocked they suddenly closed) If you read my original review, it identifies the Administrator name & email address, they may be able to expand & resolve any financial claims (?)
John, don't include any personal details ie phone number in these forums re risk of identity scam theft

Tech 2 ( by name) no longer exists. The company was broke. Harvey Norman has same back, but now called "techteam." Go to Harvey Norman and they will inform you. I rejoined and have been happy with the service. You get through almost immediately at this stage. I had one operator who was OK and another who was excellent. Good luck.

My name is Alida Koning, for years I was a costumor from Tech2. I would like to cancel my acount, because Tech2 takes the money directly out of mu account. So please let me know that it stops of taking it out of my account. My Quote number is 956975 my adress is 36-40 Racecourse Road Pakenham Unit 10 Thank you for your help over the years.
Hi Alida, I do NOT have any association with the now defunct Tech2. Like you I was a long term customer, until they suddenly stopped providing service without notice. The phone number you quote is the old Tech2 number (business is now shut down)
But I believe you can contact the administrator about financial loss etc by emailing: Tech2enquiries@pitcher.com.au
Certainly I would suggest you also contact your bank to stop any on- going payments to Tech2.
Also be aware NOT to include personal details like address etc in these forums (expose yourself to possible scams/identity theft)
But that's all I can advise you & others ..I am only a ex-customer ! Hope that helps, and you are able to stop & recover any fees Alida.

Now replaced to a new service
Unfortunately Neil, Tech2 (a good & convenient service) suddenly ceased operating for reasons unknown (?) We're on Gold Coast, and utilize a small tech business down in the Northern Rivers NSW (I've used Steve even when with Tech2 for 'hands on fixes' ..good diverse expertise & flexible to your needs) ..he came highly recommended to me, and also offers a REMOTE ACCESS SERVICE.

Are tech2 still operating?
Hi Salli, The short answer is: "I don't know but I suspect not". When I phoned the usual number, I was "No. 1 in the queue" for about 15-20 minutes. After that, I gave up and resorted to email. They have never replied to that either. I regret that's not very helpful but in the absence of any advice from them I have to presume that they are no longer in business.
I had the same problem. You must contact Harvey Norman phone 03 59702500 ask for J Martins who will put you in touch with TECHTEAM PLUS who have replaced Tech2.Regards.Neil Gold

Keith C: please see my Product Review. All I could get was their recorded message. No-one ever answered and I have had no email response either.
I have given up on Tech 2 - last year was great but this year no service, impossible to contact. I think they have become too successful and need to take on more staff.
I rang up to renew my annual subscription from 26/08/22 to 29/08/22 but no one seemed to answer my call. Even sent an email on 26/08/22 but I am still waiting for a reply. And what happens to their Live Chat and Appointment website which also have vanished. I am beginning to wonder I should look somewhere else for better service?

Rang the phone line this morning and a message says service is unavailable. Have Tech2 gone under?
Just received the reply from them. Apparently Tech 2 has been dissolved till further notice. As such no subscriptions can be renewed. Honestly, the IT staff were excellent but no doubt Tech 2 has cut cost and maybe, the employees have fled.
So what happens to subscribers who have recently renewed their annual subscription?
Why is it that everytime I call for technical assistance I am eighth or worse in queue and have to wait over 30 minutes for assistance if I am lucky. You are not providing a service just revenue for 1300 and it has deteriorated over the last three years
And yesterday I waited 30 mins from eighth in the queue only to be disconnected when I got to first

When one has placed a callback, how does one check to see where you are in the queue? I am waiting now for Timothy to call me......When? Titch
Hi Titch, They will tell you where you are in the queue or I think you can make an appointment if this is more convenient. Obviously they do not know how long it will take to satisfy each caller so if your problem is not urgent maybe make an appointment. Hope this helps.
I know that Lorraine, but how do you find out how you're progressing in the queue, which gives you some idea what your wait time could be.
If they tell you you are eigth in the queue you can bet you will wait for over half an hour if you are lucky
