Ted Car Detailing

On 13/09/2025, I purchased an interior car detailing service from TED Car Detailing for $220 via phone booking. I explained that my 4WD Jeep Wrangler was very dirty with rubbish and heavy dirt inside. The business quoted $220 and arranged for a detailer to attend at 3:00pm. The worker arrived late at 3:50pm without notice, and advised he would finish by 5:30pm. I had to leave for work at 6:00pm, so my brother remained to make payment. The job was only completed at 6:20pm. As it was dark, my brother could not inspect the work at handover.

The service was unsatisfactory. Rubbish remained in crevices, and dirt was still visible on carpets and interior walls. The worker also left rubbish scattered on my driveway. I documented this with photos.

I contacted the business immediately by phone, explained the issues, and followed up with photos. The business initially said they would check with the detailer but never returned my call. When I rang again, the staff member denied my claims, dismissed my concerns, told me the service was “fine,” and then verbally abused me by calling me an “[Content Removed].”

I requested a refund or re-service, but the business refused.
