Teko Eco Hiking 3.0 Merino Wool Socks
1 review
Before leaving to commence our Camino Walk, we purchased two different brands of hiking socks for the walk. Of the two brands, "TEKO eco HIKE 2.0 Discovery Merino Wool Hiking Socks" performed beyond our expectations. Over 7 days, each "pilgrim" on the Camino Trail covers an average of 15km across uneven terrain; rain or shine. The Teko hiking socks were comfortable to wear and because of the front cushioning, prevented blisters and protected the toenails. We discovered that the socks were breathable keeping our feet dry and "fresh" smelling without the feeling of dampness at the end of the day. An additional benefit of the socks is their lifetime guarantee. We purchased the socks online from the Australian distributor "tekoforlife" (https://tekoforlife.com.au). The support service we received from Paul Knight and his staff was outstanding. As we were on a tight schedule, Paul sent the socks we purchased through Express Post to ensure we received the socks prior to our departure.
Follow-up · How well did the socks manage odour after long days? The socks held out well with no strong odour. Did the cushioning affect shoe fit or comfort? I had an arch support in my pair of walking shoes and wearing the Teko socks was comfortable and at the end of the 7 days Camino Walk, I did not suffer any blisters. How did the socks hold up in wet conditions? The combination of my Merrel shoes and the socks, my feet were completely dry.
