Tesa WS1151 Questions & Answers
Set time daylight savings
How do I set the date please? I have tried following the instructions in the manual ans set everything else but failed at the last step
My manual gives no advice on how to turn off the alarm. It rings every few hours
After specifying the "area", the sunrise and sunset is completely off - as in not even close to correct for the NZ. Is there a way to adjust this?
How do we turn off the alarm, it seems to constantly be going?
I couldn't figure this out either, and ended up disabling the alarm beeper
I have just changed the batteries in my WS1151 weather station. The temperatures on the transmitter screen is different to the display on the main unit. This also applies to the humidity. I have followed the procedure several times and still no luck. Can you give me any clues on what I should do next.
Try following the instruction manual to manually change the temp. and humidity on the main device to match the transmitter screen.
My weather station is reading about 8 degrees c higher than the actual outside temp. I have changed the batteries and reset the station several times.I have had this station for maybe 12 months and have never had this problem untill now. Can you help? Russ.
Sorry, no idea. I’ve not had a problem with mine yet. I would take it back to where you bought it to ask them (or anyone that sells them in store).
Changed the batteries in the outside sensor and now I cannot get the outside sensor to display the temperature in C. It will only display in F. Base station still displays in C. How do I change the outside sensor? What am I missing?
I've found this product works on an intermittent basis. With luck you will find it comes right. Check also that the replacement batteries are identical to the original ones. Any difference in voltage could affect things.
I recently got one and personally am finding it seems to over-read max temp by 3-4c..inside and outside. Either that or where I live in NZ is much hotter than I ever knew..but I very much doubt it.
Anyone else have similar issue..??
The minimums seem about correct..Tks
3-4c is way too much had mine for about 2 years and its always within 1c. You obviously tested internal and external together in the same spot. If you do same spot and still 3-4 take it back. It has a rating of accuracy in the manual and i think it should be 1c and 1hpa. (obviously youve got it out of the sun?). ANyway super impressed with mine and beats paying 1000 bucks for one that has the same tolerences. I researched these for about half a year as i am a Geography teacher.
Mine was good until it failed and then customer support in NZ was sadly lacking, maybe the wholesalers name "Lacklands" reflects their customer ethic. Certainly their Aussie counterpart were far more "up there".
I cannot stop one item from flashing - pressing SET does not stop it. Very annoying. coralie.curtis@gmail.com
