ALDI Tevion 19" LCD TV with DVD Player

Good – At this price you cant really go wrong. Similar tv's with this amount of extras retail at $ 499.00 and above. Good as a second tv/dvd for the kids. Mine is used as a computer monitor, and the above. Aldi, good on you for products at reasonable prices, and good quality too. Good quality, tv with HD tuner built in , DVD player , and i use it also as a pc monitor and works well. Dont like the preset picture modes, too bright not natural picture. Ok when own settings done.

Problem TV – We bought this 19" Tevion TV / DVD Combo from Aldi in August 2010. It was only for use in a spare room, and was hardly ever used. In June 2011 the colour failed. We returned it, and once they thought it had been repaired they sent it back to us. However, the picture just completely disappeared about a week after the television came back. We phoned them again, and they gladly took it back (as with the first time)but we heard nothing from them for a month or so. As the 1 year warranty had now run out, I contacted them to ask what was happening. I was informed that they are sendiw television to replace it.

Excellent service and back-up. Inexpensive, good after sales service. Unfortunately, it had problems which could not be repaired.

nice price but missing quality – Hi There, was looking for a reasonable TV / DVD player and bought the 19" model from Tevion. The price was very attractive and they advertised a few very interesting product specifications. A few month into the product I am still happy with the basics but have to admit, that it has it flaws. The SD slot has its problems and is sometimes not responding. Need to switch the whole unit off and on to fix it.

Picture quality is good but not great.

Overall it is an acceptable product if you have a proper unit in your living area and use this one in your guest room or similar. inexpensive not 100% reliable

Terrible – Bought Tv 30/4/09 but on 16/9/09 found no power.Had it repaired but on 06/10/09 picture was blank.Now have to get it repaired again under warranty.Only used as second tv but for $400 thought it would last a lot longer.Will not buy this brand again Good price and picture is good Broken down twice
