Thames & Hudson Nature Style
1 review
Not readable – Lovely to look at small sized book on interior styling with plants and why it’s good for us to do so. However the font is tiny and delicate-lower case letters are 1mm, with many pages on coloured backgrounds. The book is slightly larger (by 2cm) than A3. So after three pages, I couldn’t continue! I have good vision, but wear glasses sometimes. My husband has excellent vision, he struggled. My teens have excellent vision and they struggled! I feel aesthetics have won over functionality-leaving this book inaccessible to a large majority of readers. I hope the authors and publishers learn from this huge oversight, and do better. I’m devastated because I wrote my name in the book before starting to read it, and can’t return it for a refund. Though I might try my luck as essentially it’s faulty. I won’t ever make this mistake again, and there are plenty of other amazing books on biophilic design, so I’ll find something better.
