Thankyou Botanical Body Wash

I’ve been using Thank You hand and body wash for many years now but lately they’ve changed the formula, and it’s not good. It’s really gluggy and doesn’t soap up as much. Plus the refill is impossible to decanter because of how thick the soap is.

The amber coloured bottle for this body wash looks decent. However, the smell is so minty that it feels like you just toothbrushed toothpaste onto your body. Lathering is not at all good. As soon as you apply the product, you feel as if you are actually brushing your teeth. This is not a refreshing scent at all. Please dont waste money on this. I used this product today for the first time and absolutely hated it!

Thank you the lid IS recyclable as well – Value for money AND the bottle including the lid is recyclable. Lots of product lids are non recyclable. Gentle on skin and different fragrances make Thank you an easy choice. Show reply

Lovely smelling body wash! – I’ve been using this for about a year now and just got my husband onto it. It’s like aromatherapy in the shower! I have sensitive, fair skin and have never had any problem with it. I love it! Show reply

Just great! – I've been using the rosewood & geranium bodywash for a few years now and love it. Come out smelling great and feeling refreshed. Never had any issues with rashes or otherwise. Sometimes wish it was a little cheaper but you pay for quality. Show reply

I purchased the Thankyou Body Wash Botanical Mint and Spring Flowers, attracted by its selling point of ‘no nasties’, however I was quick to find that this body wash actually stung when using it ?.., in particular genital area, plus leaving my skin itchy, have watered it down n only using as a hand wash now, certainly wouldn’t buy this product again .

Smells nice but irritates the skin – I have been using the botanical mint and spring flowers for a couple of days now. On my first use I was surprised at how lovely it smelt, but the mint on the skin left an icy feeling.. like when you leave toothpaste in your mouth for too long. The next time I used it I found it to be very, very irritating to my skin. I will use it to clean the bathroom in future, not my skin.

Thank you however no thanks – Smells great, however I need to use around 10 pumps to get any decent soap and then it doesn’t even foam up to wash decently. I understand you’re trying to help the environment taking all the stuff out of it however it’s useless as a body wash. It does not work.

Itchy rash all over – I have used this product on two occasions. Each time I am left with an itchy rash under my arms, breasts and other parts of my body. I am not prone to dermatitis or rashes. Truly terrible product.

Avoid rose geranium TY body wash. Dry red patches! – Caused dry red patches around my arm pits. Dry skin peeling now, super awful product. AVOID. I am contacting the company about this. Super irritating for my skin. Makes my skin feel dry.

The worst rush all over the body – Both my husband and I broke out in the worst rush. His entire body is burning, he’ll have to seek medical help. I have been reading other reviews and I can not believe how many people it’s been happening to

Caused a red rash and dermatitis – Do not use - caused a horrible red rash and itching all over the body. This product should be recalled. I don’t have sensitive skin or allergies and no other product on the market causes a rash. Dangerous product.

Children broke out with red rash – Stay far away from this product!!! I used the Cedarwood 1L body wash for my two girls (2 & 9) and they both broke out in a horrible painful red rash within minutes of applying. It took a day to disappear. Red red red rash – I’ve often bought Thank You body wash products for the shower but this one (Sweet Orange & Almond) has given me a rash all over my cheeks, neck and shoulders which is unusual. Quite a bit of heat to it too and I’ve got to now head into the office looking like a beetroot. Given I’ve used Thank You products for years and had no issues, should I no longer buy them if an inclusion is causing this or is it a one off batch?

Ouch! Burning sensation – This product left me and my husband’s skin with a horrid burning sensation, and not just to sensitive skin areas. I wrote to thank you a couple of weeks ago with no response, advising the product could be faulty or should be recalled? I’m glad I’m not the only one feeling this. I have no allergies, and all other thank you products seem fine to me. As good as it smells, I just can’t use it. It hurts.

THE WORST RASH EVER – Upon using the soap, I broke out in the worst rash of my life. Red patchy irritation all over my body. burning sensation upon use the very first time i used it – the first time i used this i got a burning sensation on certain parts of my body. the second time i used it, burning again, but to those parts and also other parts of my body. what the hell is in this soap that burns?

dangerous way to raise money for any charity. I recommend that you do not use it as you do not know what damage you may be doing to your skin or what is seeping into your system. AVOID.

Reviews – On reading the reviews well but a couple are complaining about red rashes all over their bodies to be so many this must be true you have not reacted to the comments why would that be ?

Reaction – I bought body wash with a menthol essence and I used twice, after that, starting on my body a heat rash which I have scratching for more than 5 days. I have never any reaction with any product before, I have taken a antihistamine but no relief until now. Never more I will buy this product.

any skin products, shampoos etc. I wont be buying this product again unfortunately and from the looks of other reviews I'm not the only one who has had problems with it

Rash warning! – I didn’t have any issues with skin conditions until I used the product Thankyou Botanical Body Wash. After two days I started finding hive like rash and dermatitis looking conditions on my skin. This product should be recalled or say what’s in it to cause skin reactions.

complained of it stinging their skin and refused to use it . Not good enough Thankyou brand . I’m not greatful at all but glad I can warn others of the dangers of using your product . Will never purchase again. Parents please don’t risk using this on your kids . Thank goodness we stoped using it before the kids got a more severe reaction that we did.

Warning! Red rash everywhere! Do not use – After only using twice, Thank you body wash 1litre (sweet orange and almond) im left with a red rash, itching and dryness all over my body. I don’t have any skin conditions nor am I allergic to anything. Severe itching and redness that is yet to go away. Straight into the bin. Do not use this product it shouldn’t be on the market whatsoever.

Family friendly in many ways – The ethics around purchasing these products may be initial reason, but long lasting, great feel, love the aroma. Its been the go to on hot mornings because of the clean feel and light fragrance. But great for my skin in winter too.

Reaction – Red rash all over body using product. Not happy at all very disappointed in this product and the effect it has had on my skin. Im not the only one either you guys need to fix it

New formula? :( – I used to love this body wash so so much! But is there a new formula? It's terrible and feels like it's dragging across my skin! I won't be able to buy it again if it's like this :(
