The Bartley Hotel

Lunch today was below standard, I ordered seafood platter, chips overcooked, fish small with funny taste. Lettuce was wilted and dressing non existence. Icecream was melted when presented and looked like cream. Service slow to non existant and plates left on table with desert served. There are better places with fresh food around.

Excellent Christmas Lunch – Food plentiful and fresh. The platters were great.ctganks for a terrific day.

Worst run pub in Australia – This Jones Group hotel must be the worst run pub in Australia, it's gone from having 200 people in the front bar on Friday afternoons to approx. 3 to 5 customers. And this Friday the only 3 paying customers in the bar was asked to leave as a band was going to play in around 1 and 1/2 hours time. The prices of drinks are over and above any other… Read more

hotel in the area, possibly to pay for the useless and pointless renovations which have been done over the years, [ 3 fire places, one for each customer, brand new out of date booths, lounge suites, rocking chairs, and out of place oars and mirrors on walls. ]

A function room that gets used about 3 times a year, and a pokey little TAB / sports bar with no windows, outside light or ventilation.

But on the bright side the staff are excellent and very helpful.
