The Body Shop Sensual Massage Oil

OK – Very nice, but I wouldn't buy it again, there are better massage oils out there that are also fair trade and don't leave residue! Body shop is all about fair trade, so that has to be a bonus. The massage oil does have a lovely silky feel to it and the price isn't too bad compared to most brand name massage oils. Leaves the skin soft. A few of these, sadly. To begin with the smell is far too strong, I found it lingered around the house for days after we used it and just couldn't get rid of it. The oil doesn't seem to absord very well against the skin and leaves a bit of a greasy film which then gets on everything!
Bad – its ok but i wouldnt buy it again, it is kinda been put in the back of the shelf, the smell far to overwhelming when you use a lot for massage and doesnt absorb as good as you think for a massage oil, i didnt find it very Sensual at all. this product is ok, good for warm oil massages smell is far too overwhelming especially for someone who has allergies, at first in the shop it wasnt too bad but when your massaging it gets too much the smell, absorbs to fast and i find it very greasy after massage. bit pricey for my liking as well.

Excellent – I use this as a moisturiser, and my Body Shop Body Butter as a massage cream. Go figure. It works pretty well as a moisturiser- my skin feels better then when I use the body butter, and no greasy residue, and when you use it as a moisturiser, it's really good value for money. I give it 5 stars as a moistureiser oil, 4 stars for massage oil. It leaves your skin feeling really silky, it smells wonderful, a little bit goes a long way, it absorbs really well and doesn't come off on the bedsheets, massages really well. Nothing. Except it does warn you to keep it out of your eyes for a reason, which makes me wonder- if it's a "sensual" massage oil, and you decide to get frisky, is this going to burn sensitive areas?
