The Family Place
1 review
The Family Place Playgroup – The Family Place is run by the Salvation Army in the building and yard of a C&K that it bought the building and grounds of. The yard is huge ! There are plenty of outdoor toys to play with including tricycles, a water trough, a toddler sized flying fox, 2 playgrounds, a slippery slide, swings and plenty of running space. Kym, the friendly, understanding, supportive, experienced and approachable organizer, often supplies painting activities and even water play. There is a large sandpit full of toys. Inside the building there are lots of toys and bookcases full of books for children. Kym ensures that a free morning tea is supplied to all who are on the property during playgroup on Monday and Wednesday. The actual playgroup is between 10am and 11.30am however many participants stay all day. Playgroup is free of cost.
