I was charged a fuel surcharge without being told before hand and they refuse to remove the charge from invoice apparently their system does not allow them to remove a charge. Be very careful about checking invoice before paying. Oh and I got my shirts back but I was told if you don't pay the wrong invoiced amount they dispose of your laundry as per terms on website....

contracted after I chased them, several pieces of clothing — including the Cue top — had grimy ironing marks on them. These marks were clearly not present prior to the service and appear to have been caused during the ironing process.
After I raised the issue with the provider, a second attempt was made on 16 February 2026 to redo the service and remove the marks. Again, the clothing was returned days later than agreed and while the mark on the Cue top was eventually removed, the process used to remove it caused further and more serious damage to the garment.
As a result of this second attempt, the fabric of the Cue top has deteriorated, there is now a visible run in the material, and the stitching has come undone in multiple areas. The garment was brand new prior to the service and had no defects or damage.
Despite the damage occurring while the garment was in the care of the service provider, the company has refused to take responsibility for the damage. They have declined to refund the cost of the ironing service and have also refused to compensate me for the damaged garment.
I believe this service was not carried out with reasonable care and skill, and that the provider failed to return my property in the same condition in which it was supplied. The damage occurred while the clothing was under the provider’s control and during attempts to correct a problem that arose from the initial service.
I have attempted to resolve the matter directly with the provider but they have refused to refund me for the cost of service or the price of the new top.

Received my ironing back from the very courteous and helpful lady, however, the dresses were returned in a garment bag that was way too short, so the bottom half of the dresses are badly crumpled. instructions were iron everything but youse your judgement for linen. I had stated if it very wrinkly iron if you think it’s acceptable just leave the bed linen. Really disappointing experience – They ironed sheets and pillowcases and then folded them up into tiny squares and put them in a laundry bag which I didn’t ask for (and charged me) By the way, I provided a wide basket. So they were crumpled. The shirts were ironed well.However, a knitted top was ironed but had the collar left crinkled. I don’t know what person would wear it that way. Disappointed from ACT

I used to use this service a lot- however most recently I spent 125 dollars getting my laundry washed when it was returned to me over 4 days later with little to no communication it smelt like sour milk. I had to rewash everything. Reached out to the company and the best they could say was they will train the contractors. Waste of money I don’t recommend.

Be aware your clothes are being washed in someone’s home, not a professional facility, which likely explains the inconsistency and hygiene issues.

Horrific experience with Nancy who operates in Wollongong. Website advertised a 24hour turn around period. Currently mine are still not delivered. FYI she picked them up Thursday 11am it’s now Saturday 8:30pm. Ignored my calls and texts and literally holding my clothes hostage. If I could give minus stars I would.

Laundry Lady, she stated that they couldn’t verify if the garments we were referencing as damaged had been washed by them. I explained that it would be unreasonable for customers to have to itemise and take photos of all their garments to prove what garments were in their care and [Name Removed] agreed on this point. We noted that their systems failed to accurately record and itemise the garments in their care. This places an unreasonable burden on customers to prove what items had been washed, when it should be on the business to maintain adequate records.
I am also disappointed with the suggestion that we were being dishonest about the damage to our garments. This accusation was unfounded and extremely upsetting.
I have been in communication with Head Office about this issue and requested a response to my last email within a week and I have just been ignored. Extremely disappointing with how this has been handled and would not recommend their services.

Lifesaver for busy families! Next day service – This is easy to book online, and they collect your laundry straight from your door! What a great service for families and businesses. Affordable, quick, and you can easily identify your Laundry Lady or Lad as they have car magnets and branded clothing, and they even give you nice blue bags for your laundry! service is not cheap, it is worth every dollar for how professional and prompt their service is. Communication is brilliant every step of the process. And, they are entirely respectful of individual requests, regardless how meticulous, so that they provide the best service possible for each individual.
I am dubious of negative review left by someone whom claimed used three times and had items lost each time: why would someone reuse service that had already lost garments before?
I am so happy with The Laundry Lady service that I have already made my next booking.
