Had an amazing experience with Graham C. from Local Guys Tag & Test! We had our equipment, cables, and power sources tested and tagged in Southbank. Initially, we only planned to tag fewer than 10 items, but since the minimum fee covered up to 32, we decided on the spot to test everything. Even though Graham only had enough stickers for about… Read more · 1
half, he didn’t get annoyed—he stayed incredibly friendly, professional, and efficient throughout.
He went above and beyond, grabbing extra tools and making sure everything was safe, up to standard, and properly documented in case venue staff asked. It’s rare to meet someone so genuine and dedicated to their work—you can really tell he cares about his clients.
If you need tag and test services around Melbourne CBD or nearby, I couldn’t recommend Graham enough. Super reliable, easy to deal with, and just an all-around legend. Thanks again, Graham—will definitely be calling you next time!

Follow-up · Used these Gentlemen again this year for our company test and tag, 10/10 service, quick, patient and well priced
A great result! – Rav was on time and didn't waste time with idle talk. He was efficient and whilst two items failed the test he gave logical reasons for the failures. Also, he took in to account we are a volunteer group and the charges were very reasonable. His office was quick to answer with our initial inquiry. We will be getting Rav back next time. Show reply
Follow-up · Excellent service good price doesn't waste time talking .Will use him again next time.
I was told that the used recliner chair that I had bought for my partner would not be accepted by his nursing home without a test and tag. When I… Read more · 1
contacted The Local Guys I was promptly referred to an available technician, Vishnu, who rang immediately to schedule a time later that day. He was absolutely punctual, efficient and was ready to help with moving the chair if needed. I cannot recommend the service I received highly enough.
Follow-up · The chair was heavy - eventually a trolley helped. It all took a long time and the technician had another appointment, but the offer of help was genuine. I didn't prepare the item to tag, as it was in excellent condition and tagging was really a formality. The technician, Vishnu, contacted me immediately after my call, was very punctual (early,… Read more
Follow-up · I don't remember the cost, but it was not excessive. The process was very quick. The chair was still in my car, which is where the technician checked and tagged it very quickly (5 to 10 minutes). It seemed just a formality and needed no… Read more

We recently had Elias from The Local Guys Test & Tag come out to complete all our testing and tagging, and I wanted to take the time to leave him a review because he genuinely deserves the recognition. you could tell he genuinely cared about doing the job properly rather than simply getting through it and moving on to the next one.
As a business owner myself, I really notice good service and, more importantly, good people. Elias is exactly the sort of person you want representing a brand. He takes pride in what he does, communicates well, presents himself professionally and makes the whole process easy for the customer.
I hope head office sees this review because he is an absolute credit to the company and the brand.
It’s becoming harder to find this level of genuine customer service and professionalism. We were extremely happy with the work and will definitely be using Elias again for our future testing and tagging.
Highly recommend Elias and The Local Guys Test & Tag. 5 stars from us.

Negative reviews
If you want to hear absurd language, go there for testing and tagging,it was brand new experience in my career of 30 years, never ever would recommend this business.here I am talking about Udich.
Communication was impossible as the pair that attended had little to zero English speaking skills. We were unable to ask questions or get answers. And now we find out that RCD testing was not included in the visit and will now cost extra including… Read more
a call out fee to be done. Had they discussed this at the time it could have been completed. Disappointed and don't recommend them.
Follow-up · Was discovered by the WH&S. We didn't realise it wasn't included and couldn't ask the guys that came out as they didn't speak English. They have since sent someone else out to do that part.
We understand that this was frustrating, we aim to… Read more
dodgy – Unprofessional attitude. Prices were high. Tried to say all other testers are no good. Arrogance in a business is detrimental. Do not hire.

Brendan came out and tested and tagged a whole lot of pond pumps in my shop displays. He worked quickly and efficiently even though many were difficult to get at. Very reasonable pricing. Show reply
Awesome service. From my web enquiry, Russell contacted me within minutes and within a couple of days had visited our site and prepared a comprehensive estimate. He and his team agreed to work over a weekend to eliminate any disruption and completed more that 900 inspections in a day! Great work. Thanks Russell and The Local Guys. Show reply

We had to get a number of items tested and tagged yesterday. One of the people from The Local Guys (Dan Nawalage) called me and said he could be here at 3pm. He arrived at about 2.30 and had everything completed in about 45 minutes (20-30 items) Great service - have booked him for next year. Graeme - Adelaide Classic Caterers Show reply

Great communication with Mandy, prompt arrival, picked up issues not before noted, offered other services such as provision of new fire extinguishers and fixing new brackets, fair pricing. Would have liked our fire hose to be checked also. Show reply
Follow-up · Unfortunately, this company does not offer fire hose checks and I'm looking elsewhere for this. Three of our extinguishers needed replacing which they provided and disposed of out of date units at reasonable cost. Two of our extinguisher brackets needed replacing which was done promptly.
