Overcharging on website payment pages – While I have used the Manshake and find the product ok, my issue is the website where you add in the approved discount code and while it shows the discount, when you go to the payment page the discount disappears and if you are not careful you will be charged full price. Be careful using any man shake offer codes and make sure the offer appears correctly before you pay.
Hi thanks for the message but this post was months ago. I contacted you office before the review and they emailed back to say there was an issue with your website so it was agreed it did not load any discounts as promised but they thought it may have been fixed. I tried a number more times to apply it unsuccessfully and I reached out again via email but the emails were ignored so I only had the option to not purchase and advise others not to buy as they would not get the discounts. Given the months that have passed and you are just responding now I guess shows the lack of interest in responding to the overpricing on you website.

We may have said that the discounts may not show in the cart price, however they would have been taken off the order summary price and the total paid. We would not have said/agreed that discounts would not load/apply unless you tried to use them outside of the promotions timeframe. TMS Team
Hi Thanks for your reply. Yes there was an issue with your website and you mentioned that you fixed it but had not. many people missed their discount as they did not pick it up as I did. Please see below the email that came from your email address on the 27th of December advising you had issues.

Debited the money but never received the product. lodged 2 complaints online – Hi order first time on 21st Dec. I entered my card details but never pressed submit button and the payment went through. Immediately tried calling their helpline however they don’t work on weekends. Monday the 23rd I called and speak to Tracy. She mentioned that the they can see they’ve received ny money but the sale didn’t go through and she will speak to accounts department to refund the money and also send me the confirmation email. So far nothing is being actioned. No email, no credit.

Awful customer service and product – I have bought few man bar flavours and informed the customer service that one of the flavours tasted odd and quite strong protein flavour like its not mixed well. I was informed that the reason why it tasted different is that they have changed the formula and if I don't like how it tastes I can basically chuck it in the bin as they don't offer any sort of compensation or satisfaction guarantee. If was my first business with them and would be the last.
For a company looking for a high volume sales they should accept that a small loss is part of the business and offer some sort of reimbursement or compensation to win their customers.
I was told its my taste that is the issue not their product where I have liked 4 out of 5 of their flavours and had an issue with only one flavour.
First and last time to buy anything from their product range. Go buy Optifast or Musashi tastes heaps better and cheaper as well.
Hi There You're right - we have reformulated the bars. We've been aiming to improve the texture and taste and importantly, reducing the additives we use by using higher quality ingredients. We know taste is different from person to person so not everyone is going to love them. TMS Team
False advertising – The refer a friend for a $20 off for them and for you is a scam I’ve done it twice now and neither of us got anything it’s only 20 bucks but don’t advertise something you don’t do

I contacted that email address saying what happened 4 or 5 times I still have the emails I sent asking why it never worked I was only spending 300 a month so it’s there loss I refuse to buy now

Not so much for the product – Bad customer support. Bad supply chain. Unavailability of product. Irritable staff on phone. Poor overseas distribution
