Fraud – Terrible product and terrible service. Horrible product came not as it’s description, request for refund is one of the worst service kept on going around in circles not wanting to refund the full amount.
No customer service – We purchased 61 key one smart piano roughly two years ago and very disappointed with it. The shop was in the middle of the shopping centre (Melbourne Boxhill), one of those temporary ones and we had to pay for it there and then walk a fair bit out of the shopping centre to get it from some English teaching/ Piano teaching institute. It didn't… Read more
come with a compatible cable for Type C android devices, So we bought some attachments to go at the end of the cable to be able to connect to Android tablets but it kept on disconnecting. So we tried to contact them to purchase one for Type C but no chance of getting through the msg as no one speaks English properly. Then we drove there but still, The temporary shop was gone so we went to the institute and no one was there other than the piano teacher who was expecting some other customer to pick up the order. Anyway, we tried to explain but she could not figure out what we are talking about. We purchased several other cables from JB, Jaycar even went to a specialist music shop but none worked. If you search for the cable, it comes up in google search but if you click on it, redirects to the home page of the website which is nothing but advertising their product. After a fair bit of research, we found out that the company sells the cables on Aliexpress. We ordered one which ended up $74 and still after about a month it is failed to leave the country of origin which is China. When It comes to the piano itself, it plays fine and sounds fine and it comes with stands and the carry bag. The App is an extra cost if you want to buy new songs or the complete learning material package from Huffman Academy. The tutorial videos are available for free on Youtube but the keys won't light up. If you watch them through the app, sometimes either the keys are not lighting up or they do with delays or the whole video is not playing. Therefore, We do not recommend this product unless you know how to speak Chinese or you have too much money and don't have better plans to spend it on. It is a very expensive product at first place $700 and the company differentiates itself from cheaper ones by telling you that the piano is going to teach you how to play but in reality, you have to continuously pay more and more either it is a cable or a song or learning materials.
A great piano for beginner - children and adults – With the app, very easy for beginner to know which key to press and when in a step by step fashion - break up the song in sections, right hand then left hand. The key lights up to aid remembering and practicing. Can get my 6 years old child to play 'happy birthday' in a week. Love it! I actually used more
